The space
This beautiful villa on the Croatian island of Hvar enjoys breathtaking vistas of the Adriatic Sea and Split Riviera. Positioned on the western side of the island, the villa is just two kilometers from the center of Hvar Town, while Pokonji Dol Beach is within easy walking distance. The home is built of native stone and evokes a vintage, rustic elegance in harmony with the age-old culture and timeless natural beauty of the Dalmatian Coast, while freshly modern décor and high-end appliances meet your contemporary needs.
A heated swimming pool is perched amid lush lawns and gardens, accompanied by lounge chairs facing the dreamy panorama. A gorgeous loggia casts cool shade on a bar and dining table, its exquisite grill inspiring traditional barbeques of local fare. A fire pit keeps you warm at night as you sip the wine of Hvar under the canopy of stars.
The villa's open-plan interior joins the pool terrace through wide glass doors, breathing the sea-freshened breeze into the home. Kindle a fire in the salon as you savor pre-dinner aperitifs, and gather for dinner around the lovely table for six. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and includes a door to the loggia. The home's décor gives a modern rendition of bucolic charm, with fresh white wall finishes and vibrant artwork forming a lovely counterpoint with the stone floors, brick hearth, and natural timber in the ceiling beams, mantel, and tables.
