Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Booked for a 50th birthday celebration and reunion. A great time was had by all! Lois was around to meet and greet and the items provided for breakfast was an unexpected but very welcome surprise! Thanks for a great stay Lois!

Calm place and well maintained, we enjoyed the stay.

We had a great stay at the barn, celebrating a big birthday. There were 6 adults staying and we were all extremely comfortable. Mike and Joan were very hospitable, generous and responsive. The barn is as fabulous as the photos suggest. The views are amazing. The pool is wonderful. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We very much hope to return.

Beautiful home! Absolutely loved staying here. The grounds were so gorgeous and the property was 5 star hotel standard. It’s not often that you stay somewhere that the beds are comfier than your own and these were. They had thought of every little detail. Couldn’t recommend more.

We had such a wonderful stay at Jack and Marks house. The location is amazing, with the Forest of Dean on your doorstep, straight into the forest for walks and a lovely pub (The Rising Sun) walk through the forest. The house is beautifully decorated, friendly and super clean with everything you would need for a stay. The beds are extremely comfortable and luxurious. The dogs absolutely loved running around the securely enclosed large garden.

The location is very quiet and peaceful. The house was tidy and clean. Everything we needed was there. Jill is very attentive, friendly and responsive host. Definitely can recommend this place!

We had a lovely overnight stay in the annex. Everything we needed was provided. Helpful information was given by Abi and Ryan running up to and during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Lydney.

The beehive had all we wanted, very well equipped & clean. Nothing lacking.

Simply perfect! The hamlet is a haven of unparalleled tranquility. In Lantern Cottage itself we marvelled at the tasteful design and a ceaseless feast of wonderful quirkiness. The beautifully tended garden is a delightful place to find solitude. One of the highlights of our many travels this idyllic cottage is a definite revisit.

We enjoyed our stay at Parkend cottage very much, location was fantastic, really peaceful and it had everything we needed ( really loved brand new washing machine and dryer was really useful) loved that we had coffee machine. Thank you Richard, will recommend your place to all our friends !

Was a beautiful and cozy little place perfect for a get away. Lovely scenery, and the views around the area are truly breathtaking. Amanda was a wonderful host, always willing to help and be of great service. Definitely a place I would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay, felt so at home. Cottage was absolutely spotless……..very tastefully furnished with the addition of fresh flowers and even a cake to welcome us. Courtyard garden is full of pots with flowering plants as well as table and chairs on decking in the perfect spot to catch the sun. We were thrilled with our choice of accommodation.

It was perfection, comfortable, spotlessly clean and tidy, everything you could possibly need. Andrew catered for our needs on arrival with milk and cookies, showed us around, nothing was any trouble at all. A wonderful host. The beds were so comfortable, the showers so refreshing. Kitchen had every utensil you can think of and more besides. This is the perfect place to stay, you will come away feeling relaxed and happy. A lovely long weekend in beautiful surroundings. We booked Helen’s place as a base for engagement celebrations. We loved having access to the surrounding forest and a large garden for our Grandchildren. Comfortable bedrooms and large living areas for two families. The house has everything you need and the kitchen is very well equipped. We saw wild boar in the forest across the road at dusk - lovely surprise! Our Grandson loved toddling down to the brook behind the house and we enjoyed the stickman trail from the park. We are looking forward to returning when the grandchildren are not dependent on buggy’s so we can access the cycle trails and go a bit further. We had a lovely meal at The Dog and Muffler Inn with family. Too short a stay but very enjoyable and comfortable.
