We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dorset Mews. The house felt like a true home away from home, with everything we needed and more. It was spotless, beautifully presented, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. Although we don’t have kids, we really appreciated the great selection of games, toys, DVDs, and even a Wii—such a nice touch for relaxing evenings in. The location is perfect: just a short walk to the town and beach, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Having private parking was a huge bonus in Lyme Regis! The host was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. We actually got engaged during this trip, and we couldn’t have wished for a better little base to make such a special memory. Highly recommend Dorset Mews to anyone visiting the area. We’d love to return one day!

What a beautiful annex! We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away , the accommodation was tasteful throughout and very comfortable. There was everything you needed in the kitchen , we even bought a milk frother on our return !! Bedroom lovely with amazing view from window over the valley , nice feather pillows . The best bit for us was the amazing private garden and veranda , we watched the sun go down and had a humming bird haw moth visit the jasmine. Perfect ! We had a truly restful weekend.

Lovely place, very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely gesture by the host with the bottle of Prosecco thank you 😊 Claire was very helpful and responsive to messages. Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. Absolutely loved this home. Perfect location with amazing views and just a short walk to the Cobb seafront and beach. Various family members came and stayed with us as we were visiting from Australia which made it great for quality time together in such a beautiful location and home. Caroline dealt efficiently with two small issues that required attention from trades people which caused us no inconvenience at all. Would not hesitate to recommend this home and would certainly consider booking again on our next trip.

Had a great time staying here with all the family, the house is so close to the beach it was perfect for us! Was such an easy and chill stay with a surprise hamper full of goodies when we arrived. Would love to stay here again and Tristan was super helpful with recommendations and extra info!

Wow! What more can I say! This was such a delightful place and an absolute gem to find. Loved the decor, everything was so tastefully decorated and was absolutely right up our street; the cute private garden was one of our favourite spots. There's nothing negative to say, we wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Laura for hosting us, we would definitely stay here again and hopefully for a bit longer as it's such a good base for exploring whatever your taste might be. We were doing a nature trip this time round but hopefully next time we will get to see more of the fantastic coasts. ❤️

This was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, hands down. It was roomy and comfortable, which is not super common of the UK airbnbs we stayed at. The pictures don’t do justice to how great the view is and how beautiful the garden is. It’s a very reasonable walk down into town and down to the beaches. Highly highly recommend.

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

We loved Dave's studio, it is just perfect, immaculately clean (lovely smelling towels & bedding), really tastefully designed and very homely - I would definitely stay again. There was everything you needed (and more) as Dave had supplied lots of treats e.g drinks, cakes, biscuits, toiletries, milk, tea, coffee, cereals, chocolates etc which was really unexpected. It was excellent to have parking outside as parking in Lyme is tricky as it's such a popular place. The studio is in a really quiet location and just a short walk to town. It is a hilly location, but no different to the whole of Lyme Regis, as it is all hilly. Dave was really friendly and made us feel extremely welcome; he gave us info about what was going on in the town etc. It was a perfect stay and I would highly recommend it; it's well worth the price you pay. Thanks Dave for everything and for making our stay so perfect.

Lovely little annex with everything you should need. Exta little touch of some milk and biscuits was very welcome. Tracy gave us loads of tips on where to eat and drink. Definitely recommend if you're visiting the area

Great location, with amenities - and views across Charmouth to the sea - just as shown in photos. Just 10 minutes or so wander downhill to the sea and only half a mile from the village centre with a good (early until 9.00pm) convenience store, small bakery, pharmacy and pubs. Lots of coastal and inland walks within relatively short drives and easy access to Lyme Very responsive host.

What a lovely clean flat in a gorgeous location! Only 45 mins from home but felt like a real holiday for 24 hours! We love Lyme Regis and spent a night at Madlyn's for a special occasion. An offer of early check in was really appreciated but sadly we were at work or we'd definitely have taken it up. Thank you

Lovely place, within a short distance to the high street, gardens and beach. very clean and a good size, good for families.

This flat provided us with a perfect base for our walking holiday in Dorset. West Bay was a delight, lots of places to eat delicious seafood, and excellent breakfasts. We were there outside main holiday times and imagine it will get much busier. Flat was up 48 stairs, which kept us fit, but delightful clean modern space & we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommended.

Fabulous place, fantastic views from living room and master bedroom, perfect place. Such a great location just across the road from the beach and a few minutes walk from the harbour and town centre. The sound of the pebbles washing up the beach lulled us to sleep. Thank you Anna!

Stayed for a friends wedding. Location was perfect as walking distance to registry office and reception. Jonathan was proactive and offered recommendations of things to do if I wanted them. I changed my arrival time last minute and Jonathan was excellent at accommodating the changes providing clear instructions / directions. The apartment was clean, milk in the fridge and biscuits left for me, good sized shower with good water pressure and the bed was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Tom’s place is great, excellent location, within minutes of the bars, restaurants and shops, yet quiet and private. A lovely view from the front window of trees in the garden opposite. Very well equipped and spotlessly clean, with nice decor. Everything you could want for a short break or even a longer stay. We will certainly come back again. Parking space at the back and easy access with clear instructions.

We really enjoyed our time here in this lovely, light and spacious apartment. Very well furnished and decorated, the beds were very comfortable too! Gemma and Mark were lovely hosts and were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed our chats!! Sophie and her humans loved meeting Hektor and Styx and she enjoyed the front garden. We will return and hope to see another glorious sunset.

We absolutely loved our stay at Carley’s apartment. All directions and instructions were spot on and easy to follow. The apartment was perfect and the view is stunning, and everything we needed was thought of by Carley, who was also super helpful and friendly. We’d definitely recommend to anyone!

Host is responsive There are lots of elements to make a stay more comfortable e.g. plenty of kitchen items, very comfortable bed, lovely patio area with a sun awning. I used gingerly as had spotted a couple of hornets which are frightening in size Local shop in the filling station is cute, even had a vegan magnum Nice to have wipe clean floors Although a small fan provided hot nights might be more challenging as no windows to open just doors. Local lanes are for brave drivers, if it wasn’t for them I would return. Too many large vehicles encountered with only passing place at one point due to someone not parking on their drive otherwise no idea what would have happened. Gorgeous place. Romantic.
