Creagh Cottage, mountain getaway

ConnorRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Photos don’t do the view justice. Jeremy was a great host. This is a cabin type experience. We stayed in the winter and used the cottage as a home base for skiing and other activities which was great. Quick ride over to Arrowtown and Queenstown but far away enough to feel private and peaceful. Some important points regarding previous reviews I read about the place being “cold”…the ground floor is all slate stone…as Jeremy recommended, just bring some sandals or slippers to wear around. There is a large heat pump, a lovely pot belly stove, and space heaters and all the beds have blanket heaters which we actually didn’t use because they were too hot…so it’s easy to stay warm and the view and coziness are well worth it, but if you’re expecting a thermostat in a hotel room that you set and leave…this wouldn’t be the place for you. We loved our stay and the host was very responsive.

Mountain Magic - Valley Hideaway

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We really enjoyed our stay at Ngaire's Airbnb. Check-in was easy, and we were met by Simon who helped us get oriented. The wing of the house that we had access to was spotlessly clean, with big beautiful windows facing out to the amazing views of the valley. It was so serene and peaceful in the mornings, being able to look outside and see the clouds dancing with the mountain-tops, along with the nearby farm scenery. Our kids just loved being able to meet the horses and pet them a little. One other thing about the unit that we really liked was the bathroom. It was so modern and clean, with excellent hot water for showers on cold nights. If you have a rental car, this place is perfect, as it's not too far from Queenstown, but since it's not right in the thick of things, it's more peaceful and economical for a family to stay. So, if you have your own transport, I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful Airbnb in the country, run by friendly, helpful, and flexible hosts. :-)

Peaceful 1-Bedroom Studio with Private Entrance

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I needed a quiet place for a couple of days to get some rest and do a bit of work on my laptop. Steph’s place was absolutely perfect! Felt really private, the door opens out onto a little reserve where you can go walking and even if you don’t have a car you can walk to local shops and restaurants or a taxi is very quick. Steph’s place was spotlessly clean and really beautiful. The walk in robe was a surprise, it’s nice to have somewhere to store big luggage! The bathroom is gorgeous with a great shower. Black out blinds worked a treat and I had a great rest here. Internet was speedy which was great for work and there’s also a little desk and chair. Couldn’t fault it and absolutely loved watching the planes come in! Thank you Steph!!

Barley Mow - Luxury Escape In The Mountains

DanielleRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Barley Mow is truly breathtaking—overlooking the stunning Shotover River with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. It was so peaceful and serene, which was exactly what we were looking for. We were especially lucky to experience some snow in June, which was was a wonderful surprise! Our hosts were welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Queenstown - it’s a beautiful spot in an unforgettable setting.

Sunny studio with hot tub and mountain views

TaylorRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Thank you Steph for such a beautiful stay. The photos did not do the room justice, it was impeccably clean with everything you could need for your stay. We appreciated the heat hump, heated towel rack and floors for our winter stay. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Steph’s place again.

Arrow river studio - stunning location and hot tub

JacobRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. The home is beautifully presented, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The view from the deck is absolutely stunning – we spent hours soaking it in. The location is peaceful and private, but still close enough to explore nearby attractions and local spots. The host was fantastic – responsive, welcoming, and clearly takes pride in offering a five-star experience. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable escape.
