Holiday rentals with breakfast in Mad River

Our family had a lovely time! The suite was exactly as described and very spacious. Great location!

Alex was a great host- very responsive, easy instructions, and polite when communicating. The house itself was in a great location. Less than 5 min from Simon Pearce and Skinny Pancake and only 10 min from Woodstock. There’s also Jake’s Quechee Market which is well stocked with food/beverages. It feels secluded but still nearby plenty of things to do. The house is modern and the robes/hot tub shoes are a great touch. The staircase is not as hard to navigate as some others have stated. Kitchen could do with some more silverware/cooking utensils (we had a big group of 8) but our cooking was minimal so it wasn’t a huge deal. We did not use the fireplace but Alex provided detailed instructions if we wanted to. Hot tub was a large size and able to fit everyone comfortably. We had a great stay at the Quechee Haus!

We traveled from various parts of the country to Vermont for a cousin’s wedding in nearby Colchester, and staying at Frank and Carol’s farmhouse was the perfect choice. They were incredibly welcoming, communicative, and helpful throughout our stay. The historic home is tucked away in a quiet, scenic area with a charming brook alongside it. Mornings on the porch with a cup of Green Mountain coffee were a highlight. I also recommend taking a morning stroll to meet the friendly local farmers-such a peaceful and authentic experience. Highly recommend!

Ben's spot is in a great location for access to local mountains and amenities - but the property itself and abutting state park made so we really just wanted to enjoy the house. Ben was communicative and accommodating. One thing to be aware of is if you visit in the winter you may need to do some shoveling and clearing to use the hot tub, but our group didn't mind and the outdoor fire pit and hit tub was GREAT for apres ski. All in all, perfect spot for a group ski trip - we didn't want to leave! Thanks Ben!

Claudia 's place is exactly described. Neat and spotless. We were welcomed with delicious blueberry muffins in which we enjoyed for breakfast the following day. It was private and quite for restful sleep at night. It supplied everything we needed and more during our stay. Do keep a note that the house welcomed dogs. We did find animal hair and smell in the house. We do not own pets so that smell was a bit a bother for us. That's just a note. Otherwise our stay was perfect! Thank you Claudia for a great stay.

Our stay was a family group of six adults and my two grandchildren who are ages seven and eight. We decided to spend the week in Queechee with the second weekend being a family wedding. We loved the peace and comfort of a private home and especially enjoyed the backyard deck playing cornhole and barbecuing. Being tucked away up off of Willard Road was worth the very slight inconvenience of an extra five minutes or so drive to get back into Queechee proper. The owners were very responsive to any concerns or questions I had about the property during our stay. The home is spacious and lovely with attractive and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is open to the main level and very well equipped for cooking all your meals if you choose. our granddaughters enjoyed the games that are stashed away in the front closet Highly recommended!

This is such a beautiful property, and the hosts are amazing. They were super friendly and helpful, and they shared a lot of local insight. The house is clean and quiet, and the view is phenomenal. We paddled on Lake Champlain right from the back yard and enjoyed amazing sunsets most every night. This is our second visit, and we hope to come back again. It's a wonderful space!

Colin’s place was located close to everything near the waterfront. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at the end of a busy day. The coffee maker was a French press- which I had never used. Now I am spoiled and will be acquiring one for myself when we get home. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Our family, comprising six adults and a baby, thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay here during a busy (solar eclipse) weekend in April. This property is brand new. There are a number of hotel rooms on the property. We stayed at the apartment suite just above the restaurant. The apartment was quite comfortable, offering ample space. It was impeccably clean, and everything was fresh and new. The convenience of having the restaurant just below was a definite highlight, making dining options easily accessible. We could hear noise from the restaurant in the evening but it did not wake our baby or impair our stay. There is a nice waterfall on the property. Proximity to Sugarbush was very good. Our hosts, TJ and Johnny, for the most part, were attentive and responsive. There was no TV in the unit or dressers in the rooms (we were told they may be adding a TV in the future). There was a bluetooth speaker for music. Our overall experience was excellent and we wholeheartedly recommend

I stayed at Sandy’s for Dartmouth’s graduation over the weekend. It was the best decision. I was exhausted from travel and appreciated the ease of everything. I slept like a dream and had the loveliest time. I was able to not only sleep well but maximize my time because of the location. I highly recommend.

Had a fantastic stay at this Middlebury apartment! It was clean and perfectly located near town and campus. The space was well-designed with great natural light. The neighborhood was peaceful, and Theresa was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place in Middlebury!

Linda was a lovely host. She has orange juice, granola, coffee, and milk ready for us which made the mornings so peaceful and easy. The house is wonderful and clean. It is very walkable and close to everything, especially downtown.

Cindy and Doug were phenomenal hosts and their suite was so lovely to spend the weekend in while skiing at Killington. Their suite was very clean and cozy, and they went above and beyond to make our experience a great one. They provided homemade banana bread, fresh fruit, snacks, coffee, and even left us a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary. This was one of our favorite airbnbs we’ve ever stayed at, and we hope to stay here again on future trips!

Hiltraut was an excellent host. She was very dedicated to maintain communication with me and making sure that I was having a nice stay. The apartment is just as described in the listing and pictures; it even is bigger in person. She welcomed me and showed me around the place; and had breakfast foods and fruits for me in the kitchen. The place is really well cleaned and well kept. Really close to downtown Burlington and the highway.

Cozy rustic room with comfortable bed after a day of skiing! We initially were disappointed by the bare bones furnishing and the large gaps between their wood floorboards. However, the delicious breakfast, helpful hosts, and beautiful location won us over.

Johnnycake Flats Inn was the perfect New England getaway! Debra and her husband Jim are wonderful people and the best hosts. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast that kept us fueled for the day. Jim is great at offering up places to visit and mapping everything out for easy navigating. If you are looking for a peaceful, homey place to stay, with fantastic hosts, look no further!

Linda and Ted are very welcoming hosts and have a beautiful home. We had a great weekend and would definitively consider going back.

Nancy is a warm and welcoming host and her beautiful home is nestled in a peaceful, tranquil New Hampshire community. The spacious wraparound porch is a perfect place for lounging and enjoying views of the lovely flower gardens. We thoroughly enjoyed our chats with Nancy and her daughter, Lindsay, as well as getting to know their sweet family dogs, Beau and Marley. Our guest room and private bath were clean, spacious, and very comfortable --we felt completely at ease and well-rested throughout our stay. Each morning, Nancy prepared a scrumptious and beautifully presented three-course breakfast and she graciously accommodated our dietary requests. We had a truly enjoyable stay and are already looking forward to our next visit!

I will look up Julia when I return in the fall. She and her place more than met my expectations! The room was comfortable and quiet, the bathroom clean, private and well- appointed. I liked how close it was to highway 7, and to a beautiful drive up to Ripton and the Green Mountains, with easy pulloffs along the way. Julie was available, helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay! The environment was peaceful and relaxing, and the jacuzzi was a perfect touch. Breakfast was delicious, and our host was kind and helpful. Highly recommend!
