Almoxarife Beach - Casa da Parteira "a moagem"

About 4 km north from the city of Horta is Almoxarife Beach. In the "a moagem" space, there is life in every corner, in the garden there is a water cistern and a threshing floor. It features traditional architecture, dating back to the beginning of the last century. At the mill, a philosophy based on the traditional and sustainable is practiced. It consists of: apartment, garden, handicraft workshop, farm with animals, vegetables, fruits and seeds of traditional varieties.

Located minutes from downtown Madalena, “Casa da Barca” is a charming space granting guests picturesque views of the ocean and island of Faial from one side, and iconic Pico Mountain on the other.
