Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Madison County

I wasn't sure what to expect when I rented out this quaint little house. Everything was so beautiful from where it was located to the amenities... all of the things. Do yourself a favor and book this spot. You will not regret it From Tommy's communication to the location and the easy access to everything, it was absolutely amazing. I plan on booking a small etreat there in the future for the clinicians that I supervise.

Myself and three friends stayed at the Stagg House during our visit to the bourbon trail. Private and peaceful location along the Kentucky river. Perfect place to stay during our visit to the area.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The setting was peaceful and scenic—perfect for a getaway. One thing to note: the roads leading to the house are a bit winding, so just be prepared for that if you're arriving at night or in less-than-ideal weather. That said, it was absolutely worth it once I arrived. The real highlight of the stay was the hosts. They were incredibly welcoming, responsive, and thoughtful throughout—from helpful local tips to making sure I had everything I needed. Their hospitality really made the experience special. Despite the curvy drive, I’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and charming escape. Thank you for being such fantastic hosts!

Had a blast. The zip line was a hit for the girls. They loved feeding horses. It was a great get away. We definitely will stay here again the next time we are in Lexington.

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s and this is by far one of our favorites. The entire house and property are absolutely gorgeous. The rolling hills and pastoral views are incredible. This is one of those houses that you will definitely want to stay at again. Wish we could have stayed longer!!! Jon Seitz

We had a great stay. Donna was very friendly, accommodating, flexible, and prompt with communication. Accomodations were as described, very comfortable and peaceful. I am planning a girl's weekend with a friend from Nashville and we are thinking of booking this location.

This was my second stay at this beautiful home. My husband booked our first stay several years ago and I couldn’t wait to bring my girlfriends of over 30 years! It was the perfect place to relax, catch up, and have hours of girl talk. We made several meals in the well equipped kitchen and were all very comfortable in the spacious great room. The outdoor living room was a beautiful bonus! Hosts were easy to reach and very responsive (the propane tank to the grill was empty on our arrival day and we had plans to use it, they replaced it very timely). We all felt very comfortable and at home.

We use AirBnB on a regular basis in different locations. We booked this place for a variety of reasons including location (close to our son), proximity to parks and grocery/ice cream stores, pictures and pricing. Once booked, Natalie was super responsive and offered many suggestions. Upon arrival, the few little extra make a big difference including a welcome package (such as a bottle of wine, Lindt chocolates, Pepperidge Farm cookies and an initial sufficient amount of Keurig K-cups). I can recommend the place wholeheartedly. Thank you, Natalie.

we almost were not about to return and book with Air B n B but...David absolutely changed that and turned our past awful experience right side up!!! During a extremely busy weekend and sold out everywhere weekend , he was available and even let us check in early!!! we couldn't get over just how peaceful stress-free and felt like honestly we were at our home! they didn't hover or intrude . Will return !!

This place is truly a rare find. Centrally located yet very quiet. The apartment was spotless and so beautifully decorated. Elegant, comfortable, and welcoming. Every room looked exquisite and had everything that someone could possibly need while away from home. The kitchen was well equipped with everything. The little balcony was perfect for hanging out in the evening. The apartment is only few minutes walk from the downtown restaurants. This was an absolutely perfect place.

Sabrina’s second story apartment was nicely decorated and stocked. It included an updated kitchen. The unit had lots of books to read and comfortable furniture. There is even a portable sound machine in the back bedroom. I love it, anticipating guest’s need for those of us who are light sleepers. The location was near a green space, and I enjoyed a quick jog through the adjoining neighborhoods.

Loved this apartment! Midway is adorable and the perfect location for seeing our favorite distilleries. Buffalo Trace, Castle & Key, Woodford, Wild Turkey, Larriken. What we did not anticipate is how utterly beautiful the countryside is…the rolling hills…amazing horse farms…just spectacular. When in town - Don Jockeys is a must. The gelato was yummy. Would definitely visit again!

I rented the apartment for my parents to visit family. The place was pristine and Ronnie was super helpful to my parents!!! I will definitely stay here when I come to visit this fall. I have absolutely nothing negative to say!

Truly one of the best air bnb's I've stayed at, and I can't wait to go back! The home is quiet and private and the backyard/area looks fake it's so beautiful. The basement apartment is huge and has everything you could need. I felt right at home! Thank you so much!!
