Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Magdalen Islands

I can’t imagine anyone giving this less then a 5 star plus rating. Beautiful home. Coffee, tea spices and even fresh cream in the fridge! Lots of towels, firewood and beach supplies. It felt like home if my home was spotless clean. Dave was a great host. He got us fresh lobster and even cooked it for us. Could not ask for a better place and will definitely be back and have recommended it to everyone we talk to

Loved the location - right on the Cabot Trail and very close to Chéticamp and the park. Lots of great hiking and sights, and we loved having the hot tub to relax in at the end of each day.

We had a great stay. House was well equipped, clean, and spatious. Good location for exploring the Cabot Trail. Brendan & Pam were helpful and proactive. Thanks for the lovely stay.

This was an excellent stay. Denise was a great communicator. The location is beautiful, overlooking the ocean and looking up at the cliffs of Cape Breton National Park behind. Close to shopping (incl. grocery) in Cheticamp. We would definitely stay here again.

Wow a great place to stay and you are right on Cabot’s Trail and Highlands. Park. House was beautiful just as described and even better than the pictures. Beds were so soft and comfortable, smart tvs, nice kitchen stocked with pots and pans, dinnerware and plenty of everything. This was a great place and we wanted to extend our stay it was that great!

This was a wonderful place, we loved being right by the ocean and the house had EVERYTHING and more to make the stay wonderful and memorable for our family. We especially liked the well stocked kitchen and the fire pit right out back with the ocean sunset views. Thank you!!

Super clean flat with great views! Loved the private beach and recommended hikes nearby. The Groovy Goat gelato just down the road is a must try as well!

Location is superb due to proximity to amenities. Sunsets from the deck were amazing every night. We will be back.

A Perfect Stay in Cheticamp – Highly Recommended! We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property in Cheticamp. From the moment we arrived, we were taken in by the stunning views – absolutely breathtaking! Whether it was morning coffee on the deck or watching the sun go down in the evening, the scenery alone made the trip unforgettable. The house itself was everything we needed and more. It’s so cozy and tastefully decorated, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a true home away from home. You can tell that a lot of care and love has gone into creating such a welcoming space. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotless. What really made our stay exceptional was the host. They could not have been more kind, helpful, and attentive. From great local tips to checking in just to make sure we had everything we needed, they truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Thanks for having us!

Wabo’s On The Water was the perfect place to stay for our visit to the hiking trails near Cheticamp! The sunsets were amazing and Wabo’s Pizza located on the floor above our AirBnB was delicious! We would definitely stay here again!

Le logement est fidèle à la description, petit studio super fonctionnel, parfait pour 2 personnes. La vue sur l’anse est exceptionnelle. L’insonnorisation avec le logement d’en haut est déficiente. La cohabitation pourrait être difficile. On entend les conversations, mouvements de meuble, les pas.

We had a wonderful time in Cheticamp. John was helpful for suggestions about hiking and restaurants. I would highly recommend his beautiful place.

We had a wonderful stay! As other reviews said, there was a smell upon entering (mothballs perhaps?), but didn't bother us and didn't notice it after a while. Although it is dated (that's part of the charm), the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds are comfortable, and the view was perfect. Overall we enjoyed our time there!

Great place, just as described, much bigger than the photos show. Had everything we needed. Fabulous view from the deck complete with sunset! Short walk to restaurants and shops. Met by Maurice and Valerie who were great hosts. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area

Second stay here and is a fantastic spot. Newly renovated very clean and quiet. And fast to communicate. Very recommendable

The condo was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The views from the living room and balcony were even better than the photos, and we loved falling asleep to the sound of the ocean crashing on the beach. Our only regret is not booking a second night!

Fara’s home was AMAZING. We loved our stay, it is so peaceful there, her home was sparkling clean, with everything we needed and was really well equipped compared to Airbnbs we’ve stayed at before. Fara was an amazing host, responsive, great communication, left us even a thoughtful treat. She gave us many recommendations about the area and was also quick at responding to our questions. I also really appreciated that she allowed us to come with our Golden Retriever. If we go back to Ingonish, we’d for sure want to stay at Fara’s home again. One more thing that we loved was the waterview from the balcony and the beach access, the beach was beautiful! Thank you again for everything and for hosting us in your beautiful home! 🌊☀️🦮🥾

Beautiful place.. We had an amazing time.. the beach in front is gorgeous. The place rented has the standard of 5 stars hotels. Would highly recommend to stay in Oceans18 and I will definitely come back. Thank you for the hospitality and making our stay memorable. Cheers and see you next time !
