Hotel holiday rentals in Majorda

I strongly recommend this place. Very attractively designed wooden cottages. Good Swimming pool. Very calm place, far from city's crowd. The cottage is clean and all the essential items are available inside. The owner Mr. Joseph is a gentle man. The staff are very helpful. There is no restaurant inside but there is an arrangement with nearby restaurant that they will home-deliver food on order.

Gaurav was there to meet us when we arrived at 1:30 in the morning and it was so easy to contact him if we had any queries and he always replied straight away. The apartment was very good and comfortable. The water filter was great to have because it meant we didn't have to buy bottled water. The towels looked like new. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for about 10 days for an event, felt comfortable and at home. For the price point, good set of amenities and excellent location at a couple minutes walk to Miramar beach and other essentials in the surrounding. Priti is an excellent host, very responsive at any time, despite having a full time business to operate. She was also helpful and resourceful. I definitely recommend.

An amazing place to stay if you want to enjoy nature and serene beaches of south Goa. The rooms were very neat and clean. The best part of this stay was its staff (very polite and helpful) Special thanks to Bijaya who went extra mile and allocated the room before the check in time and helped us throughout the stay. The breakfast served was really good. I’d highly recommend.

This is the place to be in North Goa, if you really require a homely, friendly atmosphere without comprising on hygiene, quality of bed & Upkeep of rooms. It also has two pools and one is for kids. Good sit-out area. The dehumidifier with Citronella (I think) kept in my room was awesome gesture which even in Oberoi Uday vilas I could not experience where I stay in November for 3 nights. All beaches are 8 - 10 kms away which is taking 15 - 25 minutes drive depending on traffic. Mal-de-goa is also very near on the south. The staffs - Juliet & Dominic were friendly and guided us as we were two ladies exploring Goa in a bike. All staffs were good & kind - from watchman to house keeping staffs. I would like to go here again, my daughter usually does not like home-stays kind of place but she loved it. Only thing is if you are staying in rooms in 1st and 2nd floor, you don't have intercom & hot water kettle. But you can call them in mobile.That does not seem to be a big deal. If you are in ground floor, you don't require any of these as there is 24hrs coffee / tea with hot water kept in dining area always, Also like any other great resort & business hotels - 24hrs hot water is available in rest rooms. TOTALLY A SAFE & HYGIENIC PLACE - WORTH THE MONEY

The secret garden is like a hidden retreat, tastefully curated by Helene. From cute wind-chimes at the doors, antique furniture, colourful garden decor, a well-lit pool to an AMAZING BREAKFAST that she cooks for her guests, using the vegetables and fruits that she grew herself in her garden!!! You’d see a ‘chikoo’ tree right by the pool side, and all the other vegetables growing around. The place is luxurious and yet authentic, in contrast with the nature around it. It can inspire anyone to create, learn and just to live fully in the moment, for a while! They try to provide their guests with utmost convenience, from booking a scooter for their stay to arranging a pick-up and drop, from the airport. And the best part is, you won’t even realise when the house- keeping will just quickly fix your room, while you’ll be having your breakfast or taking a dip in the pool. As soon as you come back to your room, you’ll see your bed, all made, water bottle refilled with cold water, cleaned bathroom and used towels replaced with the fresh ones. Our stay lasted for 3 days and honestly, the beautiful memories from this place have hijacked everything else that we did in Goa.

I wasn't expecting much after reading the reviews. But I really did love my room. It was quaint. it's a little rundown. Could be cheaper considering the little things that need to be fixed. But I guess that's all of Goa tbh. The room was spacious, cute bathtub including the shower and a jacuzzi outside, on my balcony that looked like it had better days. This accomodation in its heyday would've gone off. It's still cute, still spacious, love the amount of wood detail, love the option to sign in to television services if you need. First complaint would be the electricity fob; the refrigerator doesn't work if you don't leave the room Fob (white key) plugged in, so if you're out all day; whatever in the fridge will be warm when you get back. There's general maintenance on the property, the stairs, the room that would just make things a bit nicer if they were attended to. Did it effect my stay.. No. Was it an eyesore yes. But it's so close to the beach and right in the chill sweetspot

Wonderful place to stay.. had a great time.. The amenities were good, staff is helpful, breakfast was delicious and best part is it is a beach side property. Will surely get back next time as well!!

Truly a gem but no good for day trippers because one needs to give oneself time to appreciate the beautifully restored house with its swimming pool and enjoy the warm hospitality of the hosts, the staff and resident pets. That apart, appreciation is also required for the neighbourhood - the quiet Majorda beach is within a reasonable walking distance, Utorda beach is a bit further away, the fields are picturesque and one can enjoy tramping along the paths intersecting them and the village. There are also some good restaurants close by when one needs a change from the otherwise excellent a la carte fare that can be whipped up to order. Charlotte, Simon and Priti steer the ship with a light hand but an ever attentive eye to detail and the well being of their guests.

Loved our stay on this beautiful property

Dhruv is a wonderful host. He is constantly on his toes to keep his guests engaged and happy. There were very few occasions when we saw him resting, and even if we did, we are sure he must be thinking and planning his next engaging activity for the guests. Right from checking with us before arrival to our departure Druv was there, not as the owner of the property but seemed like an old friend! We loved the clean and well lit rooms apt for a workation, well equipped with excellent wifi and power backup. delicious homelike food is available for a nominal price here and tea is provided for free ! plus you get to interact with like-minded fellow travellers from all over the world. The backwater area although a part of the property, belongs to a restaurant Urrak. It may not be always convinient to access this area especially when the restaurant is functional. We loved every bit of our stay at Dhruvs place and we highly recommend Acolmeia.

Place is lovely and maintained quite well . Our issue was only the meal .We had a club sandwich and the French fries were awful . Also the breakfast included in the cost had only dishes like paratha,puri bhaji ,idli but no cold cuts etc .Only eggs .This was only drawback. But otherwise very good property.

Its a newly built property and we were probably amongst first few guests through ABnB. Few amenities like refrigerator was not available as this was under delivery process but host offered us the alternative utility and this was out of the box. The room was clean and also had a balcony. Mr Rodrigues was amazing. He was ready to help out of the box everytime. For a peaceful stay in south Goa which is also at 1.5 kms from either beaches Utorda and Majorda; its a recommend property. The place is sparingly surrounded by a few restaurant and 1 or 2 utility shops but thats enough for the stay. Recommend

Very nice stay at very affordable rates compared to others

Great place to stay!!!! There is a sunrise view right at your balcony. I loved the stay very much. The staff are very polite. I was staying there at 31st night I tried and did want to go elsewhere as so, I just had food inside and from the balcony I had great visual at 12. Just one con thought most of the happening places are a bit too far from the location.

Even better than expected! Staff went above and beyond. We specifically booked for valentines and we definitely won’t forget it! The staff arranged all the decorations they really took care of us. We have been traveling all around India for one month&out of everywhere we’ve stayed this has 100% been the best, so good we extended our stay from 3 nights to 11 The villa has everything you need, the rooms were immaculate and spacious with good aircon. The villa has a kitchen area with a fridge&all amenities. The staff supply anything you need. The pool area is huge and well maintained just like the rest of the villa. Breakfast was brought everyday we did also experienced the floating breakfast one morning which was amazing The location is perfect it’s quiet&you feel safe. You get the best of both the luxury of the villa aswel as live music near, waterfalls&beaches. Perfect for couples, family’s& celebrations We can’t thank Joel& his staff enough for making our stay so memorable❤️xx

We loved staying here - every moment of it. It was so relaxing and we had fun too! The vibe, the staff, the host. It felt like the true Goa. The room was clean, better than the photos online - with lovely touches of the wooden cupboard, bathroom tiles, the framed picture over the bed. It was clear that someone had designed it to be not just a place to stay, but a wonderful experience to remember. The bed was so comfortable. The host was very helpful, polite, and friendly. All of the staff on the property were just so nice, obliged our requests. It was just a delight to have them around. The beach is a minute's walk away. Most popular restaurants and the ones with great food in South Goa are just a 5 minute to 20 minute drive away. The pool was clean, and just the perfect spot to unwind. We watched beautiful birds come by in the day and the stars at night. Looking forward to staying here again. Thanks for everything!
