The village itself has 2 pubs and lots of walking routes nearby. Paper Mill Lock is a pleasant 30 min walk and has water sport facilities and tea room. Footpath maps available. Perfectly located in a peaceful haven, only a 5 minute walk to Maldon's high street with it's vast array restaurants, cafes and bars as well as many boutique shops. Beautiful walks from Maldon including Beeleigh falls. There is also the renowned Maldon Promenade to visit. Offering a self contained annexe split over two floors. Clean towels, fresh bed linen and toiletries are provided as well as a coffee machine, tea, sugar and milk, TV and WFI.

St George’s Cosy Cabin with Jacuzzi Hot Tub

The cabin is set within a privately owned lane surrounded by woods and farmland. Situated within the grounds of our house it can easily sleep 2 adults and 2 small children. Cot, highchair and 2 single airbeds are available. It boasts a large patio with sunbeds and quality furniture and the jacuzzi is an added luxury, £20 is requested via this app if used. There is a large fully stocked fishpond of which guests are welcome to feed.

Self contained annexe

Located a short walk of the town and quay the annexe was recently added to our home . The bright and airy space comprises of kitchen opening on to a living area with a sofa bed ( small double) , bedroom with king size bed, shower room ,off road parking . The annexes ideal for three adults, but is equipped for four and works equally well for two adults and two children.

St Peter's Cottage, Essex countryside

New build house in outstanding countryside location. Half acre (2000 m2) garden surrounded by open fields with views across the Blackwater River valley in every direction. The house is located next to the ancient monument of St Peter's Church, dating from the 11th century and now a stained glass artists studio.
