Holiday rentals with beach access in Malpais

I have stayed here before and will definitely stay again! It’s close to great restaurants and the beach. The pool is great for when it gets too hot and you need a break from the heat.

The aparment and area around are very convenient and nice. The garden is beautiful and there are multiple places to work and relax. Luis goes beyond to help and assist and made us feel at home at once. Everything was so easy and we loved everything about Luis’s place😄 We cannot recommend Trebolmar aparments enough!

We loved the apartment and really had a great time. Our stay was during the end of the season so the heavy rain put down the electricity 3 times. I believe that this is because of the location. Besides that, We loved the apartment Sunar was very responsive and helpful with everything. Very recommend.

We stayed in 12 places across Costa Rica and this is by far the most beautiful, well thought-out place we have stayed in. You can tell that the owners wanted to make a good investment with comfort and pleasure for the guests in mind. Many other ‘luxury’ stays we went to, cut corners on materials and quality but this was just in an other universe. Many thanks Sophia!

I can definitely recommend the accommodation. It looks even better than in the pictures. Everything is very modern and high quality for the price. Unfortunately there were quite a lot of ants in the kitchen when we arrived and there is no toaster. This could be improved but definitely worth the money.

Sharon is a fantastic host and the place is the perfect location central to many restaurants and activities in Santa Teresa. The apartment and the property is kept clean. Sharon even helped facilitate the ATV drop off and a laundry request. I stayed for 7 days and would absolutely consider staying here again on a future visit to Santa Teresa. Thank you Sharon for making everything so easy!

We had the best time at Richards place, and loved the location being right next to Rocobar to grab a bite to eat. The beach is amazing, we would definitely book again.

Jeffe’s place is in an amazing spot in Santa Teresa. Easily walkable to all the best restaurants and beach bars. She gave us great recommendations and the place was great! The outside area was our favorite part!

This home had beautiful views, a wonderful staff, and was a superb find for our family’s Christmas vacation. Santa Teresa is amazing and we had some of the best food on vacation ever! Our host , Brano was very responsive and our local helpers were amazing. There is a housekeeping staff on site, but they respect your privacy and keep watch over the property. They brought us extra towels when needed and were overall extremely respectful and helpful. For those traveling to this location, I strongly recommend either a car or ATVs as the home is located up a steep driveway. It is walkable (and there are 150 stairs to use instead) but to do this on a daily basis, you would have to be pretty fit and young. In addition, there are stairs from the driveway to get down to the house and these would not be appropriate for anyone with balance or stability issues. They were fine for us at 50 years old, but should be a consideration for anyone with walking or stability issues. We had a great time!

WOW. This is hand down my favorite Airbnb experience ever!!! This house is amazing. Loved everything about it. The INCREDIBLE view, the sound of the ocean. The scarlet macaws nesting outside, the amazing open living and kitchen space, the pool, the beds, all of it. We loved the forest drive and 4x4 hill, everything was great. Super peaceful yet a quick drive to town. First time staying in Mal Pais and we really loved being out of the action yet close enough to access everything the town and beaches have to offer. Jen was a fabulous host and gave us privacy but was responsive and ready to help at any question or request. Her restaurant recommendation list was EPIC. We can’t wait to come back!!! Thank you so much for such an epic stay.

Sugerencia para inquilinos: de verdad el carro tiene que ser 4X4!! El lugar es hermoso, no sé los puedo explicar lo bello que es...pero la entrada y salida es sumamente difícil si no tienes 4X4, y si usas los transportes o "taxis" que hay acá en Santa Teresa acá los extranjeros te cobran hasta 16 000 colones ( 31.50$) por un viaje de 2 min ida y vuelta, en mi opinión muy caro el transporte jaja. Pero en general es un lugar hermoso! Definitivamente volveremos en verano para disfrutar más de la zona y la casa. Gracias Alvaro siempre por su amabilidad y atención, fue el mejor Host🙂‍↕️🥹 la verdad tuvimos una muy buena experiencia, vimos monos, disfrutamos la piscina, hasta tomar una ducha con el bosque a la vista fue renovador! Amamos!

Everything was amazing including the chef I hired. The massage therapist for my retreat was top notch. Marisel the house manager was top of the line! She was very responsive and took care of all of my needs for my women's retreat as well and scheduled the massages and transportation. Sergio our driver for our excursions was the best. The customer service was phenomenal. My only challenge was I scheduled a beach picnic, and the description said there was a path to the beach. This is a path right along the driveway separated by greenery (not sure why the path was even built when you can just walk down the driveway and end up in the same place and easier. This path includes about 50 steps and about 8/10 cement stepping-stones that lead to a gate, you then walk across the street to another path that's not good for elderly or anyone with knee/hip/leg challenges as it's over debris, rocks, roots, water, mud etc and at least another 1000 steps if not more (not good at distance).

Mycket vackert boende beläget uppe på kullen, fortfarande på gångavstånd till stranden. Värdinnan var mycket trevlig, hjälpsam och såg till att vi hade en bra vistelse! Boendet städades dagligen vilket var ett stort plus. Tack för en trevlig vistelse, kan varmt rekommendera till andra gäster som planerar besöka Santa Teresa.

The host is beyond gracious and the surroundings and scenery are beautiful. I recommend any other visits to stay. You’ll be met with tasteful decor and owners who care about their property that it shows. Truly magical and I had the most relaxing stay. Wonderful restaurants nearby and a great vibe all around. Will definitely come back and hang out with the hostesses in travels abroad!

Le logement est très joli et bien situé. Marisa est incroyable! Elle a même ajouté du mobilier avant notre arrivée pour nous accommoder afin qu’on puisse prendre des repas à 4 autour d’une table dehors comme en-dedans. Super bien décoré. Végétation nous faisant sentir bien. Très bien isolé à l’intérieur pour ne pas entendre les quads qui passent sur la rue principale. Nous avons adoré!

Absolutely loved my stay here! The location is perfect—everything is walkable. The beach and surf spot are just down the block, with great food options and a supermarket right across the street. The condo was clean, easy to cook in, and felt secure thanks to on-site security. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time. Would definitely stay here again!

Gracias por toda la ayuda durante este fin de semana. Linda ubicación, muy cerca de muchos lugares lindos. Me fascina la cantidad de animales que hay en el sitio, la piscina y el mobiliario. Además de que este residencial tiene mucha seguridad. Un sitio silencioso y lindo para venir en familia.

I had a great stay at Andrew’s! I can see why he’s a super host. Very responsive, friendly and flexible. The Condo had everything you need, and was super clean and tidy. The location of the Condo is in Los Delfines, which is a private complex, so we felt very safe and we were able to use their facilities. Will definitely come back, and I absolutely recommend you staying here

excellent location. close to very good beaches on both sides. would not bother with the local restaurant as you can get tastier and cheaper meals outside the complex. the place is as advertised. very clean and cozy. highly recommend if using as a base for all of the other beaches in the area. very satisfied.

Disfrutar de las Lapas Tricolor en su ambiente natural, verlas volar libremente. Es algo que no se consigue en otros lugares. Nos gustó mucho poder alojarnos en un lugar donde hay excelente seguridad, limpieza y respeto por los vecinos siguiendo las normas. Todo el equipo fue muy amable, estaban muy atento a nuestras necesidades. Los felicito tienen una joya de propiedad, en futuras vacaciones espero tener la suerte de conseguir alojarme nuevamente con ustedes.
