Shepherds hut holiday rentals in Malvern Hills District

We only stayed for a couple of nights, but what a little gem! We will definitely be booking again. It was such a great and unique experience-like camping, but much better! The shed was so cosy and peaceful, we could have sat there all day just listening to the birds. We had everything we needed and loved the little fire pit outside. Showering with a view of the trees was quite a memorable experience too! We walked to Bridgenorth from the shed, which was stunning-through the woods and past some picturesque houses. This is somewhere we will always remember staying.

Loved staying here for a second year in a row. The hideaway hut is tranquil and the perfect break from a busy life. Love nothing more than relaxing in the hot tub and listening to nature surrounding us. Thanks again for another perfect weekend away!

Carol and George’s Shepherd hut is a little piece of heaven. It is tucked away in a quiet place between fields and mountains with endless views and sunshine. We could hear nothing but the birdsong and cattle. The garden is private and has the most stunning sunset view. We could not have asked for a better break from the bustling city life. Carol and George gave us a warm welcome on arrival which was a sweet personal touch. We would definitely return!!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

An amazing place to stay for a few nights away, loved my time there in such a peaceful beautiful location !

We absolutely loved our long weekend in the cabins, so peaceful and private with gorgeous across the valley. We particularly enjoyed the hammock on the long sunny evenings! Graham and Pip were very friendly and helpful, giving us local recs and have truly thought of everything - the cabins were well-stocked with everything you could need and were a delightful place to stay. Could not recommend these lovely cabins more for a memorable and characterful stay in the Brecons.

We’ve had an amazing (short) stay at Liz’s place. Liz was so kind upon our arrival and she immediately made us feel very welcome whilst providing the perfect amount of privacy during our stay. The place has been a perfect retreat for us and the fire pit (and the fact that the weather was nice enough so that we were able to actually make use of it) completed our experience. Would definitely recommend!

Honestly we had the most amazing stay. beautiful surroundings and darren the host was 5 star he made us feel very welcome right from the start he showed us around and then left us to it. The bbq area and hot tub made it the perfect evening, so peaceful. Also was at hand for any questions with very quick response also sent links of places to visit it is definitely a weekend we will remember forever. Thankyou so much we would love to come back at stay again 🥂🛖

Mike and Margaret were absolutely amazing hosts! The Shepherds hut is incredible with more than you could need. The location is extremely peaceful and private with 2 horses, some chickens and ducks for neighbours. It truly is beautiful

My Girlfriend and I were looking for a beautiful nature retreat. The Hide was exactly what we were searching for. Amazing location with so much to do nearby yet very private and amongst the wilderness. With dear roaming outside and the morning bird song it was perfect. Immaculate and well looked after, we had zero problems or complaints.

Thank you so so much for a wonderful weekend. We had the absolute best time. The location, the property, the scenery… words don’t do it justice! To anybody who’s looking for a magical getaway, then I suggest you get this booked ASAP! We will be telling all our friends and family and will 1000% be returning. Arrived at 3pm check in, the road down there is a bit hectic but fine if you take it easy, my Fiesta managed it just fine. The Hut on the Hill was exactly like the pictures, inviting and cosy, and Mandy and David had gone out of their way to make personal touches such as fresh eggs, fresh bread and beautifully creamy fresh milk. Usually when Ben and I have gone to other locations with hot tubs the towels have been small and limited, but Mandy and David ensured there were large towels, and spare, and sliders too! Plus some beautiful towel dressing gowns. Mandy was very responsive and reassuring when I wanted to ensure we were parked in the right spot. The hot tub was already warm and easy to navigate, and we slept so well in the bed! The dog too enjoyed his freedom which was a major highlight for us. You can order food and wine from the hosts and if we'd stayed longer, we definitely would of. This place was beyond our expectations and would love to come back.

We stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and it was perfect! It was nicely tucked away and the hot tub was nice and warm when we got there. Beautiful surroundings and great if you want to go for several walks. Local pubs were very friendly too 10/10 would recommend

We had a wonderful 2 night stay and just wished it could have been longer! The shepherds hut was really lovely with everything you needed for your stay(shower was better than I had at home!) and the setting in it's own cottage style garden,beside a babbling brook was idyllic! So peaceful and right on the Offa Dyke walking trail, which we did a part off from the hut, which very quickly gave us fabulous views across the area. Our host was great-welcoming us in on arrival and was on hand across the road if needed. Would definitely recommend staying here,we loved it!

The Shepherds Hut was amazing, so cozy, clean and comfortable. Trish has thought of everything. The table and benches turn in to the bed base, with space underneath to store your bags. The bed was really comfortable and we both had a great nights sleep. The shower was great, towels provided. It's in a really quiet location and we had the added pleasure of seeing a glorious peacock on our arrival ! Trish is a really great host, lots of attention to detail such as: fresh free range eggs, cans of gin and tonic, chocolate biscuits, milk and a bottle of cold water in the fridge. Plus marshmallows for melting by a fire and a jar of sweets. Games to play, a folder with details of local pubs (all dog friendly), maps for local walks and booklets of places to visit. We recommend the Red Lion at Castle Eaton, a really friendly and welcoming pub, with very tasty food. We really enjoyed our weekend, so much to do and right in the heart of the Cotswolds. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! Ros and her husband have clearly gone above and beyond to make this shepherds hut lovely. The hut is fantastic - very comfortable and very well stocked. The breakfast was tasty. The area is very beautiful and there is lots of information in the hut about local walks and pubs with clear instructions. Thank you!

We went to Cherrys shepherds hut for my boyfriends birthday. The location was very quiet with beautiful views. The shepherds hut was cosy, clean and very thought out. Cherry was a very welcoming host. Thankyou Cherry for making our stay a memorable one xxx

We had a great stay at Shepards View. Super cosy and in such beautiful surroundings - watching the horses in the morning was lovely! The location was perfect aswell, so easy to get to all the places to visit in the Cotswolds. Our dog loved the enclosed garden. Hosts were very helpful, not that we really needed anything but all instructions were helpful! Would highly recommend a stay!

Rachel is an amazing host. Let us know that we could check in early and greeted us with some delicious cake and milk. The hut is beautiful and the outside space is great for dogs. The land is great and you don’t feel like you are staying on someone’s property it feels very secluded and we could walk the dog around Rachel’s field which was great. On a hot summers day the hut can get quite toasty which is something to be mindful of if you have a dog but Rachel does provide a fan which is great for cooling down. Kitchen was well equipped with a hob, oven and microwave. Great fire pit and BBQ. Overall amazing stay at Rachel’s Shepherd Hut!

We absolutely loved our stay at ‘The Bibury’! Only a short drive from Burford, it was a wonderfully peacefully escape in such a gorgeous setting. The facilities were fantastic and the welcome basket was a lovely treat on arrival - the wood-fired hot tub was an added bonus! The hosts were really friendly and helpful. We would definitely reccomend to others visiting the Cotswolds :)

Very peaceful and tranquil. Lovely outlook across open fields. Just what I needed for a relaxing break will definitely stay again.
