Nice and friendly hostel. The only remark is that the bathroom was not very clean.

We enjoyed staying at this place. It ismin good location close to Smyrna old town and famous Kemeralti bazaar in Izmir. Apprtment was very clean and owner provided unlimited drinking water which was available on the hall. Thank you!

I highly recommend Cuneyt’s place. Spacious room with big comfortable bed, great aircon, and most importantly very clean and well equiped. To avoid any confusion; breakfast provided means it is inclusive in the price - and it is excellent with a great variety of foods. Evening meals were a reasonable price, of a great standard, and it was pleasant relaxing in the courtyard setting.

The owners were very friendly, which I appreciated at first, but over time it became a bit overwhelming. They frequently wanted to come down and visit. I brought my client for a medical trip, so it would have been more helpful if they had welcomed us initially and then given us space to focus on our tasks without feeling obligated to. During our stay, my client had an accident on the bed, and I promptly paid for the mattress. Unfortunately, there was also an accident on a cloth sofa that could have easily been steam cleaned. However, the host advised that we had to pay the full price of $2,900 USD to replace the sofa. I felt this was excessive, especially considering it’s a rental property where normal wear and tear should be expected.

Great Hostel. Affordable, Clean and Comfortable and good way to meet people from all over the world. it's in Basmane Area of Izmir which has many great restaurants cafes and other shops. 10mins walk from Metro and 2 Metro stops to Konak Area. I just wish there were no cats in the hostel because I'm allergic to them. So if you don't have any car allergies this is a great place to stay. Also good host and responsive and helpful. Highly Recommended!

Murat was an excellent host, very welcoming and helpful in everything. Balina is very cosy and Bademli is a really nice village. The beaches around it are fantastic.

Baris very nice friendly guy his flat very nice and modern

Located very central between Kemeralti and Alsancak, close to the train station. The surrounding area is changing – some buildings are already renovated, and there are ongoing modernization projects. The Hotel von Baris is a successful example of how well maintained and inviting it will look everywhere. After checking in, you immediately feel comfortable: the rooms are clean and tidy, and the entire hotel is well maintained. Baris and his team are very hospitable and take care of their guests with a lot of commitment. I was very happy with my stay and would book here again anytime I travel to Izmir.

Lotus Garden is a great hostel. Nice host. Interesting guests. The facilities are fabulous for an economy traveler. Close to good walking malls, central culture park, and shoreline in İzmir.
