Holiday rentals with lake access in Manistee County

Jeremy's house was very cozy and clean in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the harbor. Our kids thought the rotary phone and antique furnishings were so cool! It was an easy walk to the beach for sunset and near other sight seeing/hiking spots off lake michigan. Jeremy was also quick to respond to any questions we had.

Would love to stay again!

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

Dan was a great host, providing clear instructions and quick responses for questions that arose. The Airbnb was the perfect size for a large group and near plenty of fun attractions. Would recommend this Airbnb and Host to anyone!

Exactly what we needed for a getaway up north!!

We've stayed a few times with Dave and always love our time here. He is very responsive to questions, makes excellent suggestions, and even provides a holiday touch. We love staying here with access to the kayaks on Portage Lake in the summer and the beautiful views year-round.

Two Lakes Lodge was the perfect place to kick off our Michigan trip! We loved it so much, we already booked our next stay! The home was spotless, beautifully updated, and in the absolute best location. Right in the heart of town! Walking distance to several restaurants, coffee shop, local markets, and ice cream! We noticed a few reviews mention water pressure or a sulfur smell, but we simply followed the host’s tip to run the water for a few minutes when we arrived and we had zero issues. The water was hot, pressure was great, and everything worked perfectly. Truly a wonderful stay. You won’t be disappointed!

My partner and I loved staying here over the winter holiday. It was very well-thought out design in such a small space and most things we needed for our stay were included by the host. It seems like they thought of everything and we agreed that this would be a very nice place to stay in the summertime. The only thing I’ll say is that I don’t think the Airbnb could sleep 4 - when the Murphy bed is down, there isn’t much room remaining. We were very comfortable but we are two fairly small people. This is an excellent space for a couple! Thank you again.

The place looked exactly like the pictures. The views and proximity of the lake were excellent. The home was clean and inviting. We can't wait to book again with David.

The home and surrounding yard and lakefront were all beautiful and as pictured. The home was clean, check in was easy, and our family was happy to have some of the little extras available (beach towels, lawn games).

I have nothing bad to say about this place. It's such a homey feel. The pictures do not do this place justice. You really have to see it for yourself. The beach was your back yard. It was sooo beautiful. We already talked about coming back again. Hands down the best Air Bnb I've ever been to.

Awesome place! We came for my wife’s birthday/color tour and this place did not disappoint. Had everything we needed and more. Everything was spotless which is usually the first thing we check. The views from both patios were perfect for our morning coffee.

Great place for a vacation. Had fun fishing, kayaking and hooping in the backyard.

Shawn’s little place was the best little getaway for my family of three. Close to the 5th St. Beach and downtown Manistee. Home was clean and tidy. Super great to have two bathrooms in a house this size. Thanks Shawn!

Deborah’s cottage was the perfect place for a Lake Michigan experience! We enjoyed the easy walk to the beach, peaceful mornings on the back deck/swing, & all the special touches that had been added to the cottage. It was the cleanest and most well-stocked vacation rental my family has have ever stayed in. Deborah went out of her way to make us feel welcome & right at home. We are already missing the uncrowded beach, cool Michigan temps, & relaxing living room fan!

We had a great stay at Kevin’s house- the views and property were incredible. The house was quipped with everything we needed for a fantastic Labor Day weekend.
