Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Manteo

We loved that we were able to walk to the beach and to the bay. Also loved the beach parking pass to give us the option to drive to the beach. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards and bicycles and all of them were fantastic! Very comfortable house, felt right at home there. Perfect house for a family to use. Also very helpful that Target, Publix and tons of restaurants were very close.

this house was extremely convenient for going to the beach, especially considering it came with a cart to haul all your chairs and beach things… such a short walk to the ocean! we loved our stay, nothing we’d change!

We enjoyed our stay! Great pool to enjoy! The dog park nearby was not completely fenced, so anyone with a dog that could potentially run off, has to monitor them constantly. Also, the "park" did not allow dogs to accompany families going to the swings or beachy area. Therefore, the family had to split up, or not bring the dog to the community area at all. Luckily Nags Head and Kitty Hawk beaches allowed dogs during the day.

We had a great three night stay, my three adult children and I. The beach was surprisingly almost ours to ourselves. For an older traditional OBX house, it was well updated and very well appointed. The central floor plan is very open. I love it when you can be in the kitchen cooking while talking to everybody in the living area and those around the dinner table at the same time. Awesome view of the ocean off the back deck. We sat in the hot tub and still see the ocean. Im sometimes leary of hot tubs at the beach, a lot of times they are not well maintained. Danielle's was spotless and the water chemistry was perfect and safe. There was absolutely nothing we needed or any place where we needed to go that was not within a 5-minute drive. All of my family are fisherman. if you like to fish, there's not a better place to stay. getting from the house to the beach to surf fish takes less than a minute. we walked up to the OBX Pier several times to fish, probably less than a 5 minute walk.

Great House! Easy Check-in, nice neighborhood, close drive to the beach access, and all the amenities you’ll need. I would recommend this stay.

Our family had a great vacation. The house was beautiful with plenty of rooms and bathrooms for all of us!! The house is private but very close to the beach, dunes, restaurants and shops. Would definitely love to visit again!

Great place for small family or two couples. Space was well decorated and cared for, very clean. Great fenced in backyard.

We had a wonderful stay at Alison’s place! It was perfect for our group—which included my spouse, our family dog, and my grandmother-in-law. The house was just as advertised: clean, spacious, and in a fantastic location. It’s in a quiet neighborhood but still within walking distance to the beach, a grocery store, local shops, and even an ice cream shop, which we loved. Although the range broke on our first night, Alison and her husband were incredibly responsive and had it replaced within a few days. Their quick action really stood out and made us feel well taken care of. Overall, it was a great experience and we’d absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

This is an excellent location for the entire Outer Banks. Recommendations on things to do and places to eat were very good. The automatic lights for taking the dog out at night were perfect. Check in/out instructions were very detailed. Jenna & Tim were great hosts. Lots of amenities and great layout. Lots of fans, lighting and outlets. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. When we return to the Outer Banks this will be the first place we look for availability. We had such an amazing time here! She was quick to respond and the place was beautiful! The backyard was perfect for our toddler to play in and I really appreciated that there was a baby gate for upstairs. We will definitely be coming back!

Such a great location and apt. Super cute and lots of kitchen equipment for making something at home or reheating leftovers. Close to downtown Manteo which was super fun. Love the beach island vibes of it all. The property is awesome. Very dog and kid friendly.

This was our third time staying here! We love the water views, location, and peacefulness of the neighborhood. We would love to return again soon!

Jeff and Sue's place was perfect for us, 8 adults and my elderly dog. It had plenty of rooms, bathrooms, TVs and even a piano! One of the bedrooms is actually a mother-in-law apartment with a small functional kitchen. The bed and the sheets were so comfy! It was all nice and clean. It is located in a low key, quiet residential neighborhood. Our stay was pleasant. Our hosts were very responsive. It was as described and in the pictures. Yes, I would stay there again. The house was exactly what we expected. We were able to check in a little early and the instructions were very clear. The area was super quite and peaceful. The pool, hottub and house/bathrooms were all very clean. My friends and I would definitely stay here again!

Great, responsive hosts! The cabin was a perfectly cozy landing spot for my teenage son and I to retreat for a few long beach days. The beach and pier are just across the highway, easy to get to by car with private parking included. Plenty of places nea by for fun, food and shopping. Neighborhood was busy, but very quiet- everyone was friendly and we met some great folks on the beach! We would definitely stay again, and recommend to others!

Andy's place was quiet and peaceful. Close to all Manteo offers and just a short drive over the bridge to Nags Head restaurants and shopping. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Everything you need to cook was supplied. Nice big private yard (not fenced). We enjoyed our stay and it fit our needs perfectly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kathryn’s place. It was the perfect location for our trip to the Outer Banks. We appreciated how dog friendly the place was - being able to rinse the dogs off in the outdoor shower was very convenient. Our hosts were kind and responsive, and we highly recommend this stay!

Amy made sure to communicate regularly from the moment I booked. She made all instructions very clear and when I reached out with any questions she was quick to respond.

This was by far the coziest and most stylish condo we have seen to date. The color schemes and choices of furniture down to the wall decorations and lighting were beautiful. Our 5lbs Yorkie was truly comfortable in this unit. And by no means is this a fault of the owners but the building itself was just built to hear anyone’s footsteps. Not loud talking or obnoxious guests. Just the pounding felt. Bring a noise maker and it’s perfect. I would definitely stay again!

We were in Manteo for my daughter’s wedding. Staying at the Croatan Cottage made the whole experience that much more special. This house takes you back in time. Sitting on the front porch was relaxing. I loved that it was close to everything. This was our first time using an Airbnb. Dee made it very easy & stress free. I would highly recommend Croatan Cottage & plan to come back soon.

The home was clean and instructions were very easy to follow. Since we were looking for a peaceful location on this trip, it fit the bill. The view was worth the cost. We knew there would be others around, as it was described accurately and clearly as a condo community. Supplies were very sufficient for us, and the owners were responsive. Enjoyed this trip!

The furnishings were comfortable and inviting—perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location offered quick and easy access to shops, restaurants, the beach, and most of the local attractions.
