Our Shuksan Suite is freshly remodeled and upgraded to provide you with a relaxing place to unwind after a long day of carving turns at Mt Baker, rafting the river, snowmobiling the woods or hiking the trails. Featuring an Alexander Signature Series queen bed and Easy Breather Pillows from Nest Bedding, full kitchenette and dining area, and a full shower/bathtub, you can stay in and relax. We are also a short walk to local dining and nightlife. Enjoy playing billiards, ping pong, and foosball in the Shuksan Den, or just relax by the fireplace on one of the many cozy couches reading your favorite book. Free shared Wi-Fi is available, but internet in Glacier is not high speed and is not guaranteed. Remote work, wifi calling or other streaming services may not be possible. We built this tiny house after a trip to Japan where we fell in love with the concept of “shinrin-yoku” (forest bathing or taking in the forest atmosphere). Even though this property is located within a small, private neighborhood, the forest and a rushing creek can be enjoyed from every area. Try your hand at tiny home living in the 196 square foot space. Or cheat a little and sit outside on the cute little porch or creekside deck.

From the cabin, it's a short 15 minute walk through a forest path to town for your morning coffee, and only a 30 minute drive up to the Mt. Baker ski area. Sitting just inside a cul-de-sac in a gated community, you'll find find both nature and privacy during your stay.
