La Casita Margalef

This 19th century house has been recently refurbished true to its original essence. The large studio has a separate sleeping area and 2 charming balconies that provide luminosity. A Norwegian cast iron stove keeps the studio warm in winter and a modern AC unit cools it in summer. The practical kitchen is fully equipped and the bathroom has a comfortable shower with a good size boiler to ensure plenty of hot water. Terracotta floor tiles and wood beams make the studio feel charming and cozy.

We have tried to restore it and decorate it with elements that have great sentimental value for us, in order to share with you the history of our house and our town located in an environment of olive trees, cabins and dry stone walls (recently declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site).

Our accommodation is located in one of the best-known climbing schools in Catalonia. In this unique environment for climbing, you can also do other sports activities such as hiking or mountain biking. It is located on Molins Street, also known as “Carrer de les Covetes”. It stands out as one of the most beautiful streets in Margalef, as you can see an impressive strip of rock that runs along the entire street.
