Bryan was amazing since the moment we booked, giving us all his tips and contacts in morrillo area. The house was comfortable and full of nature around so we could see monkeys in the morning while enjoying breakfast with shade from the jungle. Our favorite was to shower everyday in the open bathroom , will miss it! Thanks Bryan for everything

Our family of 6 (originally 8) was looking for an off the beaten path beach vacation. This property was just that, and comes with a very friendly and helpful caretaker. The house is large and comfortable, 5 min walk up a steep hill from a large sandy private beach. We enjoyed swimming boogy boarding and surfing with boards kept at the house. There is plenty of running water from a spring (which host says is potable but we filtered) and solar power/batteries which fyi does not run the fans all night. We appreciated the 3 supplied chitra-proof bug netting on the beds. We paid extra for (and the caretaker arranged for) a fishing trip, a snorkeling trip, a typical Panamanian dinner, and transport from the island back to playa reina. The caretaker makes sure to speak Spanish slowly enough that we can all mostly understand! We all loved our time on cebaco at casa purumpu and hope to return.

This is really an incredible place. Big spacious ceilings and the highlight is really the porch / patio. Staying up the hill a bit from the main road in Cambutal was totally worth it. It had awesome ocean views from the porch every evening. Lying in the hammock every morning watching the ocean was hard to beat. The kitchen had everything we needed--gas range, kettle, etc. The washer and dryer worked really well. We needed our hot water worked on one day and his property manager was incredibly responsive and on scene immediately to fix the issue. I would recommend staying at this place!

Super séjour à cambutal et chez luna negra ! cambutal est paisible et parfait pour le surf, la pêche , ou les excursions dans la jungle à proximité ! le logement était parfait , deux grande chambre avec salle de bain et une cuisine extérieur bien fonctionnel. terrasse avec une belle table pour les repas , cadre magnifique !

Diana and Michael are great hosts, responsive, friendly and kind. Ready to go that extra mile to make their guests feel at home. Place itself is very well equipped and conveniently located if you are exploring the western side of the Azuero peninsula. No major drawbacks, mostly positive feelings about the place and we might well come back one day. Enough space for 4 adults. The only minor point that I could think of would be mentioning that the place seems to share one wall with a pizzeria. Was not a problem for us, you can hardly hear anything most of time, but could probably be a little minus for someone who prefers absolute tranquility / likes to take a nap during the daytime. All in all great value for money and great hosts.

Private and peaceful cabin. Convenient location. The owner went out of his way to accommodate changing our booking dates due to an unexpected circumstance. We enjoyed the evenings in the hammocks on the deck, listening to the sounds of the jungle.

Cambutal is a beautiful out of the way place, and our family loved it! It was perfect for swimming, tide pooling and just hanging out. Brittany’s place was great for us and Brittany was a responsive and helpful host. Be sure to catch the sunrises and sunsets as they add to the natural beauty of this place! We loved having a place right on the beach and the house had what we needed (no oven or toaster oven, fyi but we made it work!) we would definitely stay there again!!

Great stay, here! Great location to be within walking distance of popular eateries & scuba activities. Finding the property was a bit tricky in the dark 😅,, & squeezing our big truck up the narrow driveway between other properties was a bit nerve racking. Once there, it was everything we needed & more 👏

Loved our stay at El nido del toucan! Gisela and Guido are so friendly and they live in literal paradise. The house was super comfortable and we had everything we needed. The dip in the pool was much welcome in the heat, the closest beach is a short 15 min walk from the place and is a true hidden gem. Gisela had recommendations and useful tips, we had good conversations and she has a great sense of humor. Everything was exactly was we needed for a restful stay. I already recommended to friends and family. Merci Gisela et Guido!

We stayed for 2 night at the apartment from Danielle . Vista Coiba is a really nice place to stay. For one more night we stayed at a bigger Appartement which we directly booked at vista Coiba . We nice location. Good breakfast and nice dinner and drinks. The garlic fish with yuca was quite good . Ismael and his team did a great job and at least we went to Isla Coiba with Jorge after recommendation . We saw a lot of turtles and sharks.

Amazing and unique place. You can just feel the love and dedication that went into this place. Surrounding are just absolutely beautiful and the kids loved playing in the river. Teresin and his family are just the kindest and took amazing care of us. I can highly recommend this place to anyone and we cannot wait to visit the little paradise again in the future!

Nuestro caso fue especial ya que necesitábamos trabajar en Bucaro. Casa Iguana estaba idealmente ubicado para nuestros propósitos. La casa tiene las amenidades necesarias y la piscina es muy agradable para descansar. Christian, el contacto local, fue muy atento y nos ayudo en todo. Lo recomiendo mucho

Nice place to enjoy and be relax...the sunset across the islands is super...the hosts are very friendly...the pool was cool my son enyoy it. I recommended the cabin cause is private. comfortable...

Great location in the penthouse. Loved the view and all the restaurants around. Swam out to the island, but not recommended unless you are in great shape. 1 mile each way with sideways current and waves. Loved the hotel and the care they took of us.

The stay at Gisela’s was very enjoyable, the hosts are ready to help you with anything you may need, there are two incredible beaches within walking distance and it is possible to see wildlife on the way They also have a large swimming pool with a tremendous outlook over the ocean and some islands, perfect for a late swim and photos of the sunsets

Amazing spot with private beach- hard to beat the privacy and access to the beach! Likely do need a bigger car to get there on the dirt road. We had a great time- didn’t have wifi, but really didn’t need it - some of the burners on the stove worked, and most of the showers, so it was just as much as we needed and and our local host Keysi was amazing and very responsive. We had a lovely stay .

We were in a suite on the top floor facing the street. Our deck was huge and the suite was very comfortable. We loved the smoothies for $2.00 at the fruit and veggie store. The main beach at Santa Catalina was very dirty. It’s a small cove and when the tide was high it picks up the garbage and driftwood from the beach as well as mega amounts of sand from several sand bars then crashes onto the beach. The surf looks muddy, and full of debris. The gorgeous beaches you see in pictures are from other islands around Santa Catalina. You can go on a snorkel excursion for $55-65.00per person for the day. Plus $20 per person for entrance fee into Coiba Island National Park.

Amazing beachfront stay — perfect for families We had a wonderful stay at Emilie’s home. Communication was excellent—she sent us all the necessary information in advance, which made our arrival smooth and stress-free, even though we got there a bit late. The house was in perfect order and had everything we needed. The location is absolutely pristine—right in front of the ocean with stunning views. The terrace was our favorite spot to relax and enjoy lunch or dinner while listening to the waves. It’s also ideal for families: if you have older kids, they can play on the beach while you watch from the terrace. We’re very thankful for the late check-out, which allowed us to enjoy our last moments there without rushing. Cambutal is a peaceful, charming village, and we would love to return. Hope your experience is just as great as ours!
