We have been coming here for about 3 years now, it’s our all-time favorite place to escape to for some 1-1 time after a rough week! It’s a gorgeous location deep in the woods near Ocala National Forest. The property is amazing, with a big spring and lots of wooded area. If you’re into the outdoors, there’s plenty to do in the area just a short drive away. Our favorite feature is the hot tub overlooking the property. It’s so relaxing and peaceful at night! Only downside is maybe the public bathrooms/showers, as it gets very hot during the summer, but still well worth the stay. Worth the trip up from Tampa every couple months to truly unwind!

Amanda and her husband couldnt have been more helpful and accommodating with our stay. They communicated every step of the way and made sure that we had an incredible stay. I couldnt recommend the cabin, location, and hosts more.

Tonya was an excellent host. She had everything arranged for our arrival and met us at the entrance to the resort. Tonya was easily accessible by phone for questions. She was quick to respond when we needed replacement of supplies . She is a very friendly and welcoming host. The cabin was incredibly cute and had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning !

Wow! The ranch is beautiful, the staff is kind and came up to talk about their horses and events, the horses love some good scratches. This is a little patch of Heaven! 🩵

My husband and I enjoyed nice and relaxing weekend. The quiet beautiful nature view was so relaxing and away from the sound of traffic and city life. Hearing nature wake up, while having a cup of coffee on the porch was amazing. The house was super clean!

Great little cabin in the woods. It was just what we needed for a couple of nights while we spent the day at Salt Springs which is only about a 5 min drive. Cute and comfortable. We loved the outside bathroom! Would stay again.

We definitely loved it there! Beautiful, cozy and host were extremely friendly. Place extremely clean and they offer all essentials unlike other places. Our doggies and us will definitely be back. P.S. Our dogs had a blast at their doggie park.

Leslie was very responsive. The setting is private and the covered deck on rainy days wonderful to relax on. Leslie provided much appreciated extras like healthier cooking pans, sharp knives, a cutting board, and a medicine kit which are not usually provided in my years of experience. A word of caution apparently regarding airbnb policy. Check for potential price changes on your reservation Even IF you are subtracting something!!! Because I didn’t end up taking my dog with (deleting the pet fee), it changed my reservation and a $142.20 increase (county tax fee) was added! 😱

My dog, Isaac, and I loved our wonderfully peaceful and comfortable stay! The host was so friendly and welcoming. The place itself is very comfortable, cute and larger than I had expected, and the serene atmosphere was perfect for relaxing. It was great to find such a genuinely dog-friendly spot! Isaac and I also loved meeting the horses on the farm and their very sweet deaf dog. Just a heads up for future renters: the Wi-Fi was generally fine for streaming or using my phones. It only got a bit spotty when I was utilizing my laptop for work tasks requiring a lot of bandwidth. The shower also has its quirks, the water pressure was a little low and it took some finessing to get the temperature right. However, these were very minor things for us and didn't overshadow the fantastic experience. Overall, a top spot for comfort and peace. We highly recommend you join the stay if you get the chance, Isaac and I would happily come back!

The cabin was amazing, it fit plenty of people! Bryan was very communicative and responsive. Any questions and concerns we had, he would accommodate us and do anything he could to help. The scenery was beautiful and everything was set up nicely for us. He even left us some fire wood for the fire pit!

This was an anniversary trip. If you want atmosphere... this is horse country! ...with the cottage right in the middle of the immaculate corrals, stables, horses... a brand new colt! Sitting on the porch, morning and evening watching the horses graze in the rolling pasture... just gorgeous! The cottage is beautifully done with just a few unfinished touches. It has the high ceilings, tall doors, moldings of a classic older home tastefully remodeled. Beautiful bathroom... really comfortable living space... small but well equipped kitchenette. 15 minutes from World Equestrian Center. 20 minutes from hiking in 22,000 acre Paynes Prairie State Park (bison, wild horses, amazing birding). 25 minutes from Silver Springs Sate Park. A wonderful value... Natalie's place was perfect for our 46th anniversary trip.

We were in Gainesville for our daughters UF graduation and rates are notoriously high in Gainesville for graduation weekend. We decided to look a little bit off the beaten path and also wanted a place that our other daughter and her husband could stay with us and have their own bedroom and bathroom. Liz’s lovely house perfectly fit the bill. Not only are the surroundings so peaceful that we just wanted to spend as much time as possible looking out at the water and trees, but the house was perfectly clean, much more modern than I anticipated, and was very comfortable for sleeping. We also loved watching Liz’s dogs play in their yard next door. The drive in to Gainesville was very easy. We would not hesitate to book Liz’s house again.

The cabin is a perfect spot for a quiet getaway. What was impressive was the amount of “little things” that the cabin had when you needed it. (Spices in the kitchen, cooking supplies, blankets, etc). I was very impressed. Very quiet and worth the stay. If I came back to the area in the future, I would be looking for this cabin again for availability.

We went to snorkel at Devil's Den and stayed 2 nights at Karen's place. The cabin was beautiful and looked just like the photos. We met her goats snd chickens and horses and the property was stunning. Incredibly peaceful and felt far away from the world, yet only 10 minutes to Devil's Den. She left a great list of local restaurants and attractions. Was just lovley to drink coffee in the morning on the porch swings. We had delicious pizza at Archie's, but mostly just enjoyed the cabin and property. Highly recommend!

Our family had a great stay at Lisa’s cabin! The cabin was peaceful, clean and had everything we needed plus more for our stay. We were able to enjoy fishing off the dock, s'mores by the fire and our favorite part.. canoeing around the lake. Thank you Lisa for a great little getaway. We will definitely be back again soon!!

Very nice home, located within 20 minutes to the springs, hiking, and restaurants. We loved the seclusion, the home’s architecture, and the detached BBQ screened-in shelter. The large backyard is great for the activities they provide (cornhole, mini soccer, and tree swinging). We were there in the summer but the water level in the back was too shallow to launch the canoes but that’s no problem with tons of local kayaking options. The house is on a 12-minute drive dirt road that can be difficult to find at night. Also, the house does not have any cell reception but the house has ok WiFi speeds to stream movies and use FaceTime (voice); that’s the price to be in seclusion, peace, and nature. Check in and out were a breeze and the indoor amenities are nice. We recommend this home for a nice getaway.
