A magical spot to get away with family to relax and recharge. We loved the view and watching the seals and dolphins each day. Nice and close to Kaikōura for food and coffee and biking.

The location of this home is incredible! Beautiful sunsets, close to penguins and a number of stunning beaches and hikes. Check out the baby fur seals, caves, natural spring, waterfalls and abundant bird life. Piwakawakas at every hike! Garry was very accommodating and responsive. Rent with confidence!

Tash's air bnb was everything it said it was, but once you get there, it's a slice of paradise you don't want to leave. You're close to Picton (5 min drive), but feel completely away from the business of life to re-set and recharge. The beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed, couch and fire were fabulous even in winter. Definitely love to come back.

We just loved this place - the location close to the slipway was great and easy to go walking. Would definitely love to stay again.

Loved Ruth's place and really found an appreciation for the art. Awesome location nice and central to town and bars and restaurants close by with beautiful views and all the homely things you could need. Place was also really cosy and homely

We had an amazing stay at Ben’s house.Its in a great location and has a great fireplace: the beds were very comfortable and loved being able to use the kayaks. The Fejoa tree was enjoyed by the kids

It was perfect! The home had everything we needed, including a coffee machine full of beans ready to go! The garden was incredible and I was in heaven relaxing in the spa in what felt like an oasis far far away! Thank you!!

We have had the most amazing stay! The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! View to die for from the enormous balcony, super comfortable beds, high end appliances & friendly accommodating hosts… we don’t want to leave!

Fantastic spacious property, well maintained and equipped. Great views, safe parking, quiet. Short distance from Picton, excellent for Waikawa Marina, great views of the sound. Wonderful place to stay.

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

On arrival the bach was unfortunately not ready for us, but this was due to an oversight by the cleaner, not Emma. Emma was super quick to respond and very apologetic when we messaged about it and couldn't have been more prompt in getting things resolved which we really appreciated. After this initial blip we loved our four night stay here. The bach feels like the best of both worlds - an old family bach and the charm that comes with that, made even better with significant modernising updates like the massive glass doors, and all the other mod cons and extras (big fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer, heatpump/AC, Chromecast, etc). It is off the beaten track and feels so peaceful and private. Being so close to the sea is a real treat. We would love to come back some time in the warmer months so we can make the most of the amazing outdoor areas and pool! (just a bit too chilly for us softies to swim in it at this time of year... we did love the outdoor fireplace though!). :)

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

Beautiful place and location, and Sally and Wayne are very welcoming. A cute little village with great restaurants and ice cream is just a short walk down the beach. I highly recommend this spot for anyone, but especially for people interested in sitting on the deck soaking up the gorgeous scenery !

Karryn’s place was a nice comfortable apartment with convenient parking. The location was close to town but not close enough to walk to. Had it been a warmer season it would have been a great location for a bike ride and bikes were provided. We would recommend Karryn’s place.

Enjoyed our stay especially the nice fireplace for the cold evenings.

Our stay at Awaroa Bach was unforgettable. Elva and Geoff were incredibly welcoming and generous with their time, offering local insight that helped us make the most of our visit. The bach is peaceful, well-appointed, and perfectly located with easy access to the estuary and nearby water taxi stops. We loved the spacious bedroom, outdoor kitchen with BBQ, and thoughtful touches like fresh herbs from Elva’s garden. A highlight was kayaking at high tide and spotting manta rays—truly magical. On our last night, we shared dinner with Elva, Geoff, and some neighbors, which made us feel genuinely at home. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing stay at Little Break Tahunanui. Toni provided clear instructions and check in was a breeze. The place was just like in the photos and the water pressure in the bathrooms was fantastic. All in all we had an excellent stay. Would recommend.

Wonderful stay a the cottage. 30 min walk into town and right on the water with lots of walking trails. Perfect location.

Absolutely one of the best spots we’ve been. The house is very clean and nicely appointed to the best possible view. The host is very helpful and really went out of way by helping us prepare the clean sheets and linen at the last minute, which really made our day easy. Thank you so much Brad for hosting us and offering us the best new year!

In short, one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at (and we have been to quite a few). My partner and I spend 2 weeks in the Best Island Bus and had the most amazing time. We honestly barely left the property because we enjoyed it so much! The location is beautiful and so calming - your stress is immediately gone as you hang in the hammock and watch the birds in the trees. It was the best place to disconnect and rest. The bus is fully equipped and so well done - has everything you could want! Simon and Clare are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. You can tell how much love and thought they have put into this place and they go above and beyond for their guests. Would recommend this to everyone! We would come back in a heartbeat and were sad to leave.

I had a lovely ocean side retreat at Chris’s. All the comforts in the serenity of nature. I slept really well in the comfortable bed. The kitchen had everything I needed. The view of the mountains was hypnotizing. One of the best experiences! Thank you, Chris.
