Cabin holiday rentals in Marquette County

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful home! As we get older, my friends and I cherish the time we get to spend together each year on our annual summer trip and this has got to be one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. It was a perfect weekend get-away to unwind and we loved spending time at the lake. The house had a cozy and cabin-like feel to it and it was the perfect size for our group. Bonnie was a great host and very accommodating. Would recommend to anyone!

The cabin is on a peaceful part of a small lake. While there are neighbors on either side, we did not see anyone during our stay making it feel secluded. It was easy to find, easy to get in and an overall nice stay. The cabin is a 30 minute drive north of the Dells and a little longer to Devil's Lake and Mirror Lake State Parks. It's not a hard drive but we did find ourselves spending a lot of time in the car to do the things we wanted to do in the area.

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

Wonderful setting for a couple’s getaway. It beautifully combines rustic charm with modern comforts; updated appliances, a stylish bathroom, and cozy furnishings throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to unwind, though the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow, so keep that in mind. We loved soaking in the hot tub, playing board games, and cooking in the fully stocked kitchen. One of the highlights was renting kayaks from The Minnow Bucket, which delivered them right to us! We enjoyed paddling and fishing on Lake McGinnis and biking through the peaceful surrounding area.

The place was wonderful, clean, very cozy and private. We were there for a couple of days and it was truly relaxing. The house was well equipped with necessary supplies and it lacked nothing. We used the hot tub, fire pit and the cycles. All were in excellent condition. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

A wonderful, relaxing stay! We visited for our annual girls trip and this property was everything and more! There was plenty of space for everyone, beautiful scenery and easy access to the river for kayaking. Meg was extremely responsive and helpful. We’d absolutely return for future stays.

The cabin was very well maintained & the hosts provided exceptional customer service. The hosts seem to take their business seriously & go above and beyond expectations to try to make their guests feel at home!

We had a great weekend at the cabin. There were a couple of issues upon our arrival with cleanliness, but Max was very responsive in addressing the issues. We were the first guests of the season and his cleaning staff didn't do a good job of opening the cabin for guests. This was out of Max's hands and he was very receptive with the information given to him and will be making sure this never happens moving forward. The cabin itself is comfortable and has everything needed for a great time. The view of the lake from inside is STUNNING! We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We loved our stay. From the moment we reserved the Lilikoi to our checkout, Daryl was very attentive and responsive. It blew us away on how peaceful it was there. My girlfriend’s son rode a bike for the first time without training wheels, went kayaking for his first time, and learned archery. There was a lot of wildlife and we spent most of our time around the camp fire and surrounding woods. Dog friendly trails and lodging. Do yourself a favor a book a weekend or a week. You won’t regret it.

This was a peaceful, private getaway from the busy city life to step back. The place was clean and the location was great. Our host was very accommodating and provided more than expected amenities. We would stay here again in the future.

Ricky was a good host and the place was exactly as pictured. Space was very clean and location was good to get to the Dells and surrounding areas.

Super cute place, we loved it was away from the hustle of the tourist area , We felt like as guests we were treated as wanted and welcomed guests, fire pit ready and available and super cute game room , you do share the game room with guests from the other cabin, it just depends your openness to share your space with strangers , we bought pizza to come back in the game room but saw the other cabin guests and their kids were in there so we ate our pizza in our cabin, usually we are pretty social but just wanted adult time with wine and food. Our cabin was perfect for 3 people could’ve used one more chair in the kitchen maybe? We loved the woodsy vibe and decor. The towels were awesome, and futon so comfortable with a nice tv. My MIL came with and she is in her 90s the cabin was very assessable for her, may want to bring your own drinking water . Briggsville is super cute tiny town and the local coffee shop is beautiful and the coffee so good. Locals were friendly and helpful.

Welcoming and attentive caretaker, kitchen amenities, fun for multi-generational groups, hot tub is divine, fun touches. For once, the teen and college-aged boys weren’t bored. I bet it’s even better in the summer. The upstairs bathroom would be happier with one more light. 💡:)

Really peaceful and quite area. We visited in the summer when it was 90+ outside, so having access to the pool was great. Basic cabin with everything you would need, bathroom is outside the cabin less than a minute walk away.

The cabin was amazing! The area is very private and secluded. The lake is right down the road and beautiful, so glad I brought my fishing poles along. We even caught a few bass! There were kayaks to use, and an awesome fire pit that we roasted smores on. The cabin was so peaceful, beautiful and very cozy. Even though we only stayed for a couple days, it really felt like home! The owners were a text away to answer any questions and even provided us with some great dinner reccomendations. Truly an amazing, relaxing experience. We will be back!

So, relaxing, cute, cozy, came home from fishing all day, was so nice just to relax on the couch with fireplace on. Way better than staying at a motel. So glad I treated myself to this place.

This is an amazing place to stay! The peace and quiet of the location and to feel as though you were in the middle of the woods was a welcome surprise! We were lucky to have discovered this place! Thank you!

This cabin was perfect for a getaway with my husband. We loved the private location nestled in the woods. The hot tub was great. We also really appreciated the recommendations about a few easy local hikes and sites to see in Montello that made for a fun morning adventure. Everything was as pictured online. The only downside was some lackluster water pressure in the shower, but that was a very minor negative. In the grand scheme of things, this place was a gem!

The cottage was the perfect spot for a quiet relaxing weekend away. Beautifully decorated inside and out. As comfortable as another home away from home.

We had a lovely stay in Montello. The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway for two couples—clean, cozy, and well-stocked. We really enjoyed cooking meals in the kitchen and spending our evenings around the fire pit. The yard is spacious and we loved sitting outside in the evenings to relax. One note is that the cabin is next to a semi-busy main road which we didn’t realize. It wasn’t too bad but not as secluded as we had hoped. Other than that it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Highly recommend!
