Spacious Birkdale Apartment sleeps 4/5

Naomi's apartment is spacious, clean, beautifully decorated and had a lovely little patio to sit outside with a coffee or glass of wine. Communication with our host was clear and responsive and we appreciated the coffee, milk, juice and biscuits provided for us. Location perfect, bus stop and train station nearby, village 10 minute walk away and both Aldi and Tesco 2 minute walk. We took train to Liverpool, only £6.40 for daysaver. Despite the unexpected end to the Liverpool victory parade we loved the city and the people, so much to see and do. Only managed the ferry, Cavern and museum in our 3 days but we will definitely be back. Perfect place to stay for exploring the area. Thank you Naomi.

Hivehaus cabin in Dalton

DeborahRating, 5 starstoday
We loved our stay at The Hivehaus. Tucked away in the Lancashire countryside, it’s peaceful, quirky, and full of charm. The design is eclectic and welcoming, with everything you need—tea, coffee, milk, pastries, and even a bottle of wine on arrival. Essentials like washing up liquid, toilet roll, and kitchen roll were all provided, plus loads of crockery and cutlery. Ed and Barry are fantastic hosts—kind, helpful, and respectful of your space. They also have two lovely, spirited dogs. We adored them, but if you're not a dog person, just let Ed know and she’ll keep them out of the way. The views from the top of the garden are beautiful and well worth the short walk. If you're after peace, comfort, and great hospitality, this place is for you. We can’t wait to go back—The Hivehaus is something really special.

Easygoing and comfortable place in central Lytham.

Pia and Dom were excellent hosts. They both made me feel welcome and encouraged me to treat their home as my own for the period of my stay. It would be difficult to find 2 nicer people. I would definitely stay again as their home is in a great location and close to all amenities in a beautiful part if the country.

2 bedroom Victorian getaway in Sunny Southport

Jamie LeeRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We really loved our stay, what a fantastic apartment on the first floor of a large character Victorian house, with two lovely bedrooms, although we only used the largest one at the front. Very spacious, with high ceilings, and it had lots of lovely touches. The kitchen is large and modern. The one time when I asked for help because I was silly enough not to see the brightly coloured gas hob lighter in the top drawer, the host was responsive immediately. I just wish we had more time there to stay in this lovely place and explore Southport more. The train station is only a 20 minute walk, if that, and return tickets to Liverpool are cheap, taking you there in just 45 minutes.
