House holiday rentals in Martignargues

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Firstly let me say that this house is outstandingly beautiful! It’s is furnished with exquisite taste! Situated on a hill, the surrounding views are breathtaking with a bonus of beautiful sunsets! It really caters comfortably for 12 people, with a choice of three outdoor tables, for al fresco dining and one indoors plus several cosy seating areas around the house and two outdoor ” planchas” for perfect grilling . The kitchen is extremely well equipped and provides you with everything you need . As for the gorgeous pool and sun loungers , outdoor fridge, outdoor loo, a large shaded area, you have everything to enjoy hours of fun. The bedrooms ( en-suite) are so relaxing and comfortable thanks to quality beds and bed linen. Despite being a big group , there were so many areas to chill and switch off which made the stay very pleasant . Véronique was a wonderful host and we look forward to returning again.

A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

What a beautiful garden! And the pool was very popular, in these beautiful days. The whole is atypical: the bedrooms (2 out of 3 are equipped with bathroom and toilet), the living room, the kitchen-dining room are in three different places (but very close to each other). It is therefore not a house, strictly speaking, but a set of places, all extremely pleasant. If I had to find a fault: one of the three bedrooms, intended for children, does not have a bathroom. It may bother some, but not us. Another nice point: a petanque court, and many small details that show that the hosts pay great attention to the visitors.

We were hosted very well by our hosts. The cottage met our expectations, very well-equipped and very clean. Recommended for a stay with family or friends.

Very good stay in Jennyfer and Vincent's farmhouse. This large house, full of charm, is perfectly suited for a large family, we were 10. The equipment is numerous and in perfect condition. Air conditioning is welcome in this season. There are many stairs, but you can bypass the steepest to access the rooms. The pool is very nice, grassy spaces to play, shade for naps... and a beautiful terrace for meals around the BBQ. Mosquitoes are kept at bay by insecticidal coils, flies are at home... This is a beautiful location for sightseeing, canoeing, hiking or mountain biking. Very good welcome by Cassandra and her sister, very responsive to solve a small technical problem. I would highly recommend this home.

We liked the place very much. We were able to reach many different locations quickly and easily from the property. The surroundings were very quiet. Christophe was very friendly and gave us good tips for the area. The house was very well equipped. The kitchen had many utensils. The shared garden was also very nice and invited us to relax. We enjoyed the time here very much, thanks again Christophe.

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

Staying at Marines beautiful home was an absolute joy. We were a group of 12 (6 couples) and there’s not many places that have 6 en-suite bedrooms. The amenities there are fantastic but we mainly spent our time round the pool and eating outside as it has a great garden kitchen. Marine also organised a private chef to come in and cook for us one evening, Chef Pierre was amazing and can highly recommend him, she also arranged our transport back to the airport.! Marine is a great host and nothing is too much trouble for her. We had such a great time that we will be back next year.!

Great week!!!! The house was exactly what we needed: clean, quiet, garden without anyone opposite you and yet in the heart of a pretty little village. Thanks to Gaetane for these tips and his responsiveness.

A corner of heaven! I was looking for the charm of old stones, nature, the tree-lined garden and the functionality of a modern home, I was captivated, it was perfect! We stayed with our 2 children aged 6 and 8, the dream for them. I was afraid that the pool would be too small but not at all, it is larger than in the photos, they had fun there for 5 days without getting tired. I often rent on Airbnb and rarely find gems like this place.

Marion's accommodation is located in a peaceful setting. It is arranged with great taste. Close to places to visit. Marion is charming and always available.

We loved staying at Silvia’s fabulous apartment in Arles. It was such a beautiful quiet location, great for peace but walkable to all you need, including close to the river. Perfect place for a first visit to Arles. We loved the architectural style and design of her house. Definitely recommend to anyone who likes good design, peace and quiet, as well as easy access to city life.

A great weekend in the hanging house Everything was perfect! We are in the city but still in a different setting Everything is provided, the layout of the accommodation is great, there is air conditioning and in the kitchen the basic condiments are also provided The accommodation is without shutters and close to the road but night masks as well as quies balls are provided Personally, we were not bothered by the noise Hosts are responsive and available, we will gladly come back

Beautiful, classic Arles townhouse with gorgeous details like the stone stairs and wooden ceiling. With modern updates, nice kitchen, and lovely bathrooms. Loved the upper cozy living room and terrace to relax in. Has everything you need for a cozy stay, and can't beat being within a few steps of arena and the heart of Arles. Host was excellent in communicating and highly recommend!

A dreamy place to stay for a few days near Cevennes National Park. Yannick welcomed us nicely and we felt at home from the beginning. The terrace and pool are great for warm summer days. We will be happy to come back!

A perfect stay on every level! The accommodation was perfect: impeccably clean, super functional, with all the comforts you need. Special mention for the hot tub, a real plus to relax. It feels like home, or even better! I'd recommend it without a second thought.

We had a wonderful week with family in a perfect home and a perfect outdoor environment!!! It's a paradise for young and old!! The little ones can enjoy the slide, swing, trampoline, cabin, scooter, skakeboard, etc... For the big ones, petanque court, ping pong table, babyfoot, not to mention the pool for everyone!! Excellent summer kitchen! Ophelia and Samuel are very friendly hosts and full of attention. Thanks for the fruit and vegetable basket!! As for Cookie, he is adorable and endearing!! We would highly recommend!!

We had a very pleasant stay at the property offered by Adrien. He was very accommodating and very flexible. The house matched the descriptions, and everything was as advertised. The rooms were very clean, towels, sheets, really nothing to say about the logistics. The pool was great, the lawns were impeccable, the deckchairs were in good condition: perfect. Overall, I highly recommend this house. We felt really good there, we were 12 people, everyone felt comfortable, and we had a very pleasant stay! Thank you again for your hospitality, and for your flexibility (arrival and departure times).

We (6 adults + 2 small children) had a dreamy stay here. All the spaces are beautifully designed and feel very cozy. Each bedroom has their own bathroom with sink and shower and two seperate living rooms leave more than enough room for everyone to relax. Obviously the pool was a highlight but so were all the outdoor spaces. We enjoyed lying in the shadow of the olive tree and loved the courtyard's atmospheric lightinstallations at night. We made great use of the outdoor kitchen and its dining area as well as the many different games (ping pong, darts, foosetable). There were always free parking spots right outside the property and we had a few friendly chats with neighbors and the owners living right next door. You can tell with how much care and attention to detail the owners have created this space and we felt right at home. We hope to be back!

Nothing but happiness at Marie-Pierre and Robert's. Wonderful place with its beautiful pool. We were lulled by the song of cicadas and birds. Ideally located for sightseeing even if we did little of it due to the heat wave. We'll be happy to go back.
