The Blue Beach House

Come and stay in our awesome and sunny guest house in Mangawhai Heads! Only 15 minutes walk from the estuary beach, the Wood street shops and 30 minutes walk to the popular surf beach! You will love staying here, the apartment has large north facing triple stacker sliding doors that you can leave open to soak in the all day sun! Even in winter you will feel like you are in the middle of summer. You will also enjoy amazing views of the Brynderwyns and fresh fruits from our garden (in season)!

Spacious apartment with expansive water views. The large covered deck with day bed is the prime spot for catching the afternoon sun. Central city restaurants, shops and tourist attractions are all a short walk away. Buses, trains and ferries are also nearby. NO GROUPS/PARTIES. NO SMOKING. Nearby bars and restaurants may mean music/noise, usually not disruptive once doors and windows are closed.

Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

The beach, along with shops and cafes are a 7 minute drive away and bush walks are just up the road.
