The Studio

Welcome to my secluded, peaceful hideaway. The studio is a large open plan space. Large sliding doors completely open up the front of the building onto the deck, giving you a feeling of always being close to nature. Surrounded by trees, orchard, lawn and garden, the studio is a quiet retreat space. The sound of the sea and bird song are always in the background. It's 50m from our house and well hidden by trees, so you'll feel very private. The best beach in NZ is a 15 minute walk away!

Set high in the hills of Awakaponga in the Eastern Bay of Plenty, Serenity Hill Cabin offers stunning coastal views over Rangitaiki Plains and the Pacific Ocean to Moutohora (Whale Island) and Whakaari (White Island). Surrounded by the bush, our unique cosy studio is a welcome retreat. Breakfast and good coffee is provided for our guests. Situated at the top of a hill with good views. We are within walking distance to the beautiful Nga Tapuwai o Toi walking track, 5 mins drive to Ohope beach and Whakatane town. Listen to the call of native birds, including Kiwi. Sit on the deck and watch the sun go down. This is a great place to unwind and relax.

Set on a large beach front site semi attached to my house. Sunny, unobstucted sea views and quiet West End, Ohope beach location. Wake up to the sound of the birds. Parking for boats. Activities - swimming, surfing, fishing, yachting, kayaking, golfing... or just chilling out. 5 minute walk to cafe and boutique shops including an art/craft gallery. 10 minutes drive to Whakatane. An amazing coastal walkway very close.

Tokomaru Beach

Our place is newly built, behind a historic building, only metres from the beautiful Tokomaru Bay Beach. The facilities are all modern, with heat pump/air conditioning, acomodating 4 people with style, comfort and ease. One queen bed is in the lounge as a pull down/retractable and the second in a separate bedroom. Shower and toilet is an ensuite shared by all guests but accessed through the bedroom.
