Maura was extremely friendly and accommodating. She was always ready to help.There was even a sheep welcoming committee that greeted us each time we returned.

We really enjoyed our stay in Angela's. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed for our family. It's a very quiet and peaceful location and Angela was very easy to deal with. I would definitely recommend.

Gorgeous property, very clean and even bigger in person than in pictures. The sauna is lovely however we weren’t able to use the hot tub as it wouldn’t heat even after a strong fire and a few hours and we weren’t able running out of wood.

The location is absolutely stunning- a real 'WOW' factor! Beautiful grounds with a stream running through it and the perfect Connemarra vibe. Elizabeth was a wonderful host- easy to communicate with, quick to respond and very friendly!

The cottage is in a small village with a few houses around . Very quiet but you do need a car to get anywhere . House was clean and tidy but there was a damp smell on entering g the property . The windows had been left open to alleviate this I think . Once we had had the heating on for a little while we didn’t smell it again . The welcome gifts were helpful with milk , butter eggs and bread and several other things too. Nice comfortable bed .

Had a great stay in Dan's fantastic house. The location and scenery were beautiful in such a peaceful area. Dan was very responsive to any queries. Will definitely be back

A perfect, dreamy location with amazing views and the natural world all around you! A wonderful spot to enjoy nature, to enjoy water and to have friends and family comfortably around. A quintessential lake house in every sense. Would HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous and magical spot.

We had a great time at Kate's house. The rooms are spacious and the 2 showers are perfect. The view in the living room is splendid. It has everything you need to have a good time. Kate gave us all the information we needed to go hiking nearby. A big thank you for hosting us.

We had a fantastic 2 night stay in Isobel’s 2 bedroom apartment (1 double with ensuite & 1 twin with a full bathroom next to it). The apartment was spotless and we appreciated the little extras which were left by Isobel including bread milk & chocolate bars. Isobel’s welcome on arrival and her recommendations for food locations were very good and she also explained the lovely short-cut to town through Westport House which was very helpful. Thanks very much Isobel, we had a very memorable time in Westport and it’s also well located to visit other lovely places including Mulranny & Achill so we hope to go back to stay there again soon.

Sorcha and Roy's cottage was perfect for our stay to explore Connemara. We received a kind and warm welcome when we arrived at their home, and Sorcha was very helpful with all her instructions. The cottage itself was peaceful, clean, and quiet and we felt right at home. Not to mention, the beautiful surroundings. I only wished we could have stayed longer. We can't recommend this place enough!

Great location with fantastic views. Spring birdsong in the morning including a cuckoo was lovely to wake to. We also had a close-up visit from a hare on one morning. The nearby beaches are a must visit, with the mountain backdrop adding to the scene. The accommodation was very comfortable and the underfloor heating in the bathroom made all the difference.

Beautiful cosy house. Very clean and comfortable. Very quiet location. Everything was as described by Carmel, it was easy to access the property. I would stay here again and recommend this place.

This was a good location for our planned trip to Knock Shrine. Mark's airbnb had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We enjoyed dinner at the The Arches Restaurant in town which was a walkable distance from the apartment. It seemed to be a quiet town. There was a grocery store across the street with a wonderful bakery inside. We had a nice stay!

Our stay with Regina was wonderful it's a great little get away; nice, peaceful, relaxing and great views all around. Regina was the perfect host greeting us at the door making us feel very welcomed, giving us tips on what to do in the local area and leaving us some of her signature scones to enjoy. I would highly recommend staying with Regina.

Comfortable apartment in beautiful and interesting surroundings with excellent host Hughes and a not to be missed bar/restaurant ( Burke) as a neighbor. Be sure to have a drink or something to eat there. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in the small Rod Room apartment immensely. First, the area and the views on the lake and Mount gable is spectacular. Second, Sorcha welcomed us warmly, and third, Joyce County provides manifold activities, beautiful sights, hiking adventures and lake experiences. The nice flower bouquet by Sorcha was the icing on the cake. If you search for a quiet place with great views you are perfect for the Rod Room. Perhaps one thing: if you use the separate bed in the kitchen there is no longer a couch in the apartment.

Amazing house, it has everything you need to feel like a home away from home. Spectacular location, the views are good for the soul. Brilliant hosts, so welcoming and accommodating. We had a fantastic stay, doggies loved it too. We will be back again. Thank you Judy 😊

We had a lovely stay at Loon Cottage with our son and his family. Lots of space for six people and an incredible view of the lake. We enjoyed visiting the quaint town of Cong as well as the Connemara. The beds are comfortable though it would be nice to have heavy curtains or shades on the bedroom windows. Excellent communication with the owner. We recommend staying at Loon Lodge without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay in Elias Cottage. It is stylishly furnished, comfortable and homely. We especially enjoyed the turf fires and the beautiful views from the living room upstairs. The host was extremely helpful and was available whenever we needed her.

What a special addition to our Ireland adventure. Home was lovely, definitely the most modern interior we had come across, yet still maintaining that cottage feel. You might think, where in the heck are we going?!, when heading up the road to the cottage. For some drivers, you may be sincerely hoping no one comes from the opposite direction! BUT you are also enchanted by this space. A walk in the morning revealed even more of a bubbling stream and peaceful countryside. Oh and we can't forget our welcome committee, horns and funny teeth as well! Everything in the cottage seemed very new and it was cozy. If you are looking to stay away from it all and really get the experience of a country cottage, this is it. Not far from Cong and Ashford Castle. The rain and wind just added to the ambiance. Thankful for the joy this place brought to our Irish experience!

Had a great stay here. Very authentic and with interesting stories from the owners. If you like quiet nature and an authentic stay you should definitely stay here!

This spot is amazing. So private and peaceful. The art is brilliant and the house is clean and has everything you could need. Mark very easy to deal with . Locals all friendly. Make sure you drive down to Picolla Sophia for dinner. If you can drag yourself away from this house and the view of the lough. I will 100% be back !!

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was cozy and quiet. The property is beautiful and there were lovely grounds and woods to explore. John provided us with a fascinating tour of historic Lisdonagh House. They also gave us helpful recommendations for sites to visit in the area.
