It's a 10min drive to Westport, 1 hour to Knock Airport, Achill, Galway city and Connemara with an abundance of activates / shopping / dining on the doorstep. Two fabulous beaches are just a short walk away - one is sheltered and secluded, and around the corner from there is the famous Kilcummin Back Strand - wide open to the waves.

Cuckoo Wood Hexagon, 5km from Westport

This cabin has a hexagon shape with a square porch where the front door is. The Hexagon, as I call it, is situated on its own on land that is half orchard half woodland. On the morning sun side, where the door is, the decking leads to the little purpose built bathroom building. There is a perspex canopy so you can walk over staying dry even if it is raining. A few goats and a few hens roam in the adjoining field.
