We had a wonderful stay! The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the kitchen was extremely well-equipped with everything we could possibly need. The host was very friendly and always quick to respond to our messages. We also really enjoyed spending time outside, whether on the terrace or by the pool. We would definitely recommend this place to others!

Great location. We had bicycles and wanted direct access to the Canal du Midi. Myriam’s place is right next to a small bridge which allows you to cross over from the apartment on the north side to the cycle route on the south side.

Nicolas and Marion are perfect. The accommodation exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to return soon.

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

From the moment I booked Celine was so helpful with messaging before arrival. When we did arrive her wonderful warm welcome was so lovely to experience after a long journey. We had a fantastic holiday in the most beautiful accommodation and setting that we have ever stayed (and we like nice places 👌). The rural and peaceful setting is idilic, the house is so charming and Gilles was so helpful and friendly throughout our stay! LaRouyère is so idyllic it almost felt like a movie set — minus the boom mics and drama. The garden and pool were our private retreat; we dedicated two afternoons to pure laziness: sun, breeze, and zero responsibilities. The home is beautifully renovated (it includes a former wine cave!) and feels like the kind of place you'd happily get stranded. I cooked several meals in the well-equipped kitchen, we slept like the dead in the blissfully quiet bedroom, and the bathroom surprised us both — showers are usually utilitarian for me, but this one was hard to leave, and my husband was equally smitten with the tub. Stuart shared great tips, including the St. Chinian market, where I found heirloom tomatoes and carrots I’m still thinking about. Both hosts were generous, friendly, and struck that great balance of available-but-not-hovering. We left feeling rejuvenated — and already looking forward to a return.

Nathalie’s home was magical. The minute we arrived we fell in love with it. It’s a real home from home with all Nathalie’s fascinating trinkets from her travels and her two adorable cats, so easy to care for. The older one lets you know when he wants feeding and is an adorable old boy and the tabby is so cuddly and affectionate. We miss them! The views from the property was breathtaking especially the Mountain View with the sound of the lake. I enjoyed reading and doing yoga in the garden too. We cooked several times in Nathalie’s kitchen which has brilliant knives and saucepans. We felt we were in a little paradise really. Recommend le rencontre to eat and also Chapters and we enjoyed going to the Boulanger every morning for a coffee and croissant. The deli produce at l’abeille noire shop was really brilliant too esp the rhubarb jam and the fig biscuits and Elen from the shop bought us bread from another village when the shops weren’t open. Nathalie is so friendly, unmissable.

A lovely french townhouse in the peaceful village of Caunes-minnervois. The space is lovely, especially the rooftop terrace and associated living room. Definitely worth what we paid. Host helpful throughout. Limited stuff to do in the surrounding area, but definitely a place for a more relaxing holiday. Would highly recommend!

Thanks to Fabienne for her hospitality, she is very responsive to answering questions and was a good source of advice for visiting the area. She and her husband are lovely people. They run a charming little restaurant in the village, very nice to have a good time. We had a great weekend with friends with our children. The house is perfectly clean and tastefully decorated. The environment is relaxing and peaceful if you want to disconnect from your life at 100 miles an hour and you enjoy nature, this is the right place! The WiFi works without any problems😉! We are delighted with our stay at Brigitte's, who was welcoming and responsive. Also delighted with the accommodation, faithful to the description, and the small terrace from which you can enjoy the view and the sounds of the night. A peaceful and relaxing place as we hoped!

We spent a very good week at Laurence's. A home with all the necessary amenities, in a pretty corner of tranquility, well located between Carcassonne and the Montagne Noire for very beautiful discoveries.

If like us you need to recharge your batteries in the middle of nature, you have found your place! Ideally located between Lacaune and Brassac in a small hamlet surrounded by trees with an extraordinary view of the valley. The accommodation is cosi and well-equipped. The bedding is quality. The two bathrooms with bath and shower are a real plus. In short, you'll understand, we loved it! And we recommend...

Very private, perfectly maintained, an exceptional terrace, carefully furnished, lots of amenities, special congratulations to Roxane... we feel like she is available 24/7 as she responds quickly. We highly recommend it!!

My girlfriend, me and our 2 dogs booked the place between the years to find peace and spend a nice time in nature. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Christine. The place is exactly as described and everything was to our complete satisfaction. What made this vacation unforgettable, however, is not the accommodation itself, but the wonderful hostess who always stood by us in times of need. When our car stopped working, she took over the communication with the French workshop, was in the nearest village for hours for us and clarified the situation and even drove us 1.5 hours to the car rental on the day of departure. Thanks to her, we were able to enjoy the time in the beautiful place despite the difficulties. Therefore, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Christine again for her helpfulness and professionalism!! 💚

Very nice surprise! Beautiful place with very well decorated and renovated house, combining the charm of the old with modern comfort (nothing is missing). The outside is pure happiness: calm, greenery, river, stone bridge... We had a very good weekend. I would recommend this rental.
