South Manistique Lake which is 2 miles north of cottage. You can access the trails from the south of cottage 300 feet on a scenic trail in the woods about 2 miles turn left or right to find the trails.

Entire 3 bedroom, 1 bath home centrally located to enjoy all the UP has to offer. Near the intersection of M123 and CR407 (Four Mile Corner) and just 4 miles north of the town of Newberry. Our cabin is conveniently located directly across from the groomed snowmobile trail. Centrally located for easy access to Tahquamenon Falls, Pictured Rocks, the Soo Locks, and Oswald's Bear Ranch. Midway between Lakes Superior and Michigan with many inland lakes. New flooring and a full size fold out couch were added in the beginning of 2025. We can now accommodate 5-6 guests.

Hidden Haven: Seclusion on the Superior Shoreline

Hosts were very responsive. For the snowmobile crowd. Heated barn was awesome! Trails were close but might need to scratch the road if light on snow and going west. East connection was super close! My only minor complaint was the heat was a smart thermostat and it kept dropping to 60ish degrees every night. Guessing it sensed no movement. Had to get up a couple times to set back to 70 from being a little cold. A note… I did not ask the host to change this as it wasn’t a big deal. But just passing on for future. I’ll be back in the summer for sure!

Booked a place for the Retreat. Great clean, spacious place. We went to the sauna, sat by the fire in the evening, cooked dinner on the grill. There is everything you need! Just right to enjoy nature and relaxation! All the participants really liked the house!

The cabin was the perfect launch pad for excursions to Pictured Rocks and Tahquamenon Falls! Even without our planned trips, we could have just as easily enjoyed a beautiful stay on the lake. Amenities provided created opportunity for swimming, camp fires, and relaxation. We also loved the peace and quiet (after the kids finally fell asleep of course). We highly recommend staying here to enjoy the beauty of this cabin, and the rest of the UP!

Levitating Tent: Site 4

We're not big campers, but we loved this getaway in the Upper Penninsula. It was such an adventure to stay in Cory's levitating tent, very private and quiet. A nice drive to all the UP sites. As a tip, print out or take a screen shot of the directions, which is helpful if you lose GPS service. Thanks Again, Cory!
