Holiday rentals in Megali Mantineia

We have exceeded our expectations. What a place! In the middle of nature, with a magnificent view, a nice simple restaurant within walking distance and plenty of hiking opportunities, beaches and nice places nearby such as Kardamili. The apartment provides everything. We were lucky that a new air conditioner had just been installed in the bedroom. Despite the heat, we were able to sleep wonderfully. And finally, perhaps most importantly: Diamanto is a great hostess! We arrived and there was breakfast for the next day, sweet treats and beers. If we had any questions, she responded immediately, but otherwise left us completely alone. Thank you for the wonderful days, Diamanto. We will definitely come back to hike in the mountains when it is a little less hot. ☺️

Great experience, very helpful and friendly. The house is located in a calm mountain village which has everything you need around you (pharmacy, taverns, supermarket, bakery, etc.). It was super clean and tidy. I highly recommend it.

The house was excellent. It was exactly as it was in the photos and fully equipped. His yard was priceless,especially for children. The village very beautiful and quiet. If I only have to note something was that while in the amenities there was the fireplace, there was no wood. Nikos was immediately available and gave us all the information we needed.

lovely place, lovely sea. Mini market and restaurants on walking distance. The bay is wonderfully sheltered, with very clean, blue water. Welcomingly received and got many good tips for the surroundings. The driveway is indeed quite tight, but best to do with a normal car

A beautiful house, perfectly maintained and arranged, very clean and quiet, and with an extraordinary pool. Everything you need is there to have a good time, and Katia and George are extremely considerate and welcoming, and gave us lots of valuable advice about the area We loved our stay and just regret that it was so short!

We couldn't have been happier or better looked after by Nasos and his family. He is the perfect gentleman & host, providing various foods and wine to get us started. The house has easy access with gated private parking (for several cars). There are great local restaurants (most notably Vrahos Cuisine, a 3-minute walk from the house), and it's close enough to Kalamata to access shops for anything you might need (there is a shop & pharmacy nearby). The house feels modern and is built with quality materials. It is secluded, with spiral stair access to an almost private beach. Just off the bedroom patio are lemons, mandarins, and loquats that we mixed with local yoghurt for breakfast every day. The sea is perfectly clear, and we enjoyed a pattern of it being perfectly still in the mornings and getting livelier in the afternoons. There are a few lovely rock pools that you can swim into, perfect for snorkelling. In all, an ideal getaway, and we'd like to thank Nasos for making it all easy.

We had a wonderful couple of days at Ranya's place at the end of October. It is peaceful and beautifully located in an olive garden. Ranya's father even came by to give us some of their olive oil, which tasted so much better than anything you can buy in a store. The beach across the street is quiet and beautiful, the water turqousie and clean. The people at the restaurant are super-friendly, and their food is amazing, too. Just make sure to bring some swimming shoes as going into the water on the pebble stones can be a bit painful. Kitries port is a ten minutes walk. Go to Gaitanaros restaurant during the sunset. It can't be any prettier! Also highly recommended: a 30 minutes drive across the mountains to Kardamili, which is an idyllic little town with another great beach. The only unfortunate thing about our time in Kitries was that it was too short!
