Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Meigs County

Great place to stay . The scenery is lovely , peaceful great family neighborhood. The house was spotless and the pictures did not do it justice . We enjoyed the snacks left by the host it was a nice surprise as well as the beautiful cared for home ,and the water toys provided . Would definitely come back .

Our family enjoyed our stay. There were 7 of us ranging from 20-82 and we all felt there was enough space, especially being able to use the back patio. We spent much of our time sitting out there enjoying the peaceful setting and watching all the bird activity. It was convenient having access to the garage for additional storage space. The kitchen was well stocked. The only item missing (imo) was a hairdryer. We visit Dayton several times a year and we hope to return to this house in our future travels.

Great weekend at the lake. Clark was very responsive. The kids loved the games and kayaks. Plenty of space for big family.

We had an amazing time here at Paul’s place!!! It was very clean super homey and the lake was the best! Caught some big catfish!! Definitely will be returning in the future! Also got some amazing pics of the northern lights on our stay!!!

I had a great time staying here! The place was exactly as described, clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The host was very responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. The price was also a fantastic value for what we got. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a smooth and enjoyable stay!

Several family members gathered for a girls weekend. There was plenty of room to spread out, relax and cook meals. Well laid out home in a beautiful location.

Jenny is a great host always accessible and friendly. The house is comfortable (clean & well stocked) and it has a homey feeling. The fishing is great! There was a variety of birds and we saw Eagles everyday a real plus!! Also having the two outside sitting areas is ideal The front covered patio facing the woods and the back deck overlooking the beautiful lake makes for hours of peaceful and relaxing days !

Kristin went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! My son got married at a venue near her home and she was so accommodating to our family and our U-Haul we had to bring with all the decor and plates for their rehearsal dinner! As soon as I arrived I felt myself exhale and rest for the first time in days! It was a magical wedding and rehearsal dinner! The venue, the family togetherness, the ceremony, but most importantly I was able to soak up the last few days with my son in a comfortable home away from home environment before he became a husband! Highly recommend booking this for any occasion! It truly is turn key ready, Walmart plus delivers groceries to your door! If you need solitude…no need to leave! We happened to meet as I walked down to the dock area by accident as they don’t want to be intrusive. I would have never known they lived next door except she said , if you need anything or forget something for the wedding…call me I am next door!

It was absolutely one of the two most peaceful places I have ever been to. I wasn't ready to leave, and I will go back just as soon as possible. The place was clean and welcoming. We had everything we needed and Gary & Sheryl were awesome!!! If you want a quiet get away, I highly recommend "On the River"!!!

It was the perfect place for our short stay. The unit was very clean and comfortable. There are many attractions just a short drive away. Rose was very welcoming and attentive.

Very nice place, and it was close to all the places we wanted to visit.

We enjoyed our stay and look forward to booking again in the future.

If I could give this stay 20 stars I would! What a phenomenal experience. Michael & Hilda’s home is absolutely stunning. Their family and friends we met while being there were so welcoming and friendly. The love they all have for making sure their guest are happy, goes unnoticed. They made us feel like their place was ours. I can’t wait to come back or to another one of their beautiful properties! Thank you just isn’t enough.

Absolute top knotch host, and stay. The apartment is beautiful, spacious, and spotless. The stocked kitchen is a huge bonus. The morning muffins were a big hit, especially for my kiddos. The host honestly thought of everything, and went above & beyond with SO many amazing extras!! You can definitely tell LOTS of love has been put into this home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay in this enchanting home! From the moment we walked in, it felt warm and inviting, like a true sanctuary. The atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and serene, far beyond our expectations. I was genuinely surprised by the natural beauty surrounding the area; the lush greenery and vibrant wildlife created a calming ambiance that allowed us to fully unwind. We were so grateful to have the opportunity to recharge for a few days in this haven. Conveniently located near Oak Ridge, it was ideally situated for our needs, and we appreciated the proximity of several supermarkets. This made it easy to stock up on snacks and microwaveable meals for our stay. One of our favorite aspects of the home was the charming bookshelf. We spent hours exploring its eclectic collection of books.
