It was a very nice cottage, small, but everything was in good material, nice shower, nicely decorated with nice wood details. We slept wonderfully with the windows open and the sound of the river, otherwise it was completely quiet at night. Outside nice terraces, wonderfully seated with our feet in the river, a fantastic environment, completely unobstructed views at the back of the house and a lovely hamlet. We walked every day for half an hour to Gois, a beautiful village with river and delicious pastries at the paladeria. We thought it was very nice!

It exceeded our expectations! Great location, very comfortable, wide and clean housing. Dona Rosário was impeccable, always helpful and very nice. We will certainly be back!

This is one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed. The home is in an amazing village and is so peaceful and beautiful with great views. The location is very accessible to fun hiking trails. Lousã is good to stock up on groceries. The home has good wifi and the bottle of wine the host left was such a thoughtful and pleasant surprise. We really liked sitting on the patio having food and wine and just taking in all of the surroundings. I have never been somewhere so unique. Such a special place.

The view is amazing and the place is very peaceful. Bring some supplies with you as the nearest supermarket is 15m away (by car) and enjoy the nature. Everything was as announced, clean and with everything needed to cook.

The house was very clean and corresponds exactly to what is shown in the advertisement and photographs. Communication with Inês was always quick and effective. Check-in is simple, fast and autonomous. Check-out until 10 pm is a great added value. The location is good, in a calm and quiet area. Very positive experience, I recommend it!

When we first saw Mario’s place and the fact it was a perfect five stars from all previous guests - it was difficult to believe. But we immediately upon arrival understood why this was a perfect 5 stars…this is an incredibly special property - from the streams, waterfalls, history as an olive press, trails, peacefulness - this place was absolutely one of a kind. All in our group agreed this place, of all the places we’ve stayed in the world, was truly truly special….if we could give more than 5 stars - we would. Mario and Cila were fantastic hosts and incredibly responsive and the amenities and nice touches throughout made us feel right at home - better than home. Such a wonderful stay.

It is a wonderful space to enjoy as a family. Well-equipped kitchen. House with entertainment for children. A good barbecue area. The nature around the accommodation is incredible. A true haven.

Adri and Petra are wonderful hosts. They greeted us personally, provided great information and were very generous and kind. We wish we could have stayed longer, as their place is beautiful. We were surrounded by nature, right in the middle of stunning mountains and hills. It was tranquil and peaceful and great for taking long dog walks or hikes. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.

Perfect house especially for the summer, extremely beautiful and with impeccable and creative decoration, made the experience much more memorable. Carolina and her sister were sweet and the communication was great and constant. Everything is clean and has everything you need. The pool was nice with a wonderful view of the mountains. We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

The host was very friendly and always available to help when needed. House equipped with the necessary utensils and included a stove for cooking meals. Very pleasant and quiet surrounding area, ideal for resting. The air conditioning was perfect for the hot days that were felt. The host has a dog that kept us company. thank you and we want to come back!

We’ve had a wonderful time in this beautiful apartment. Stunning views, nice pool and Pedro is the best Airbnb host you can get. Would love to come back here some day.

This place is the perfect getaway to relax, unwind, and be in the beauty of a working farm, but close to the park if you feel like getting out and about. I had difficulty with the directions getting there because I am unused to driving through very thin cobblestone roads because in America, we do not have that, and Rui was completely responsive and extraordinarily helpful every step of the way . When I got to the place, I just felt like it was magical and it was a beautiful and perfect location and I wish I would’ve stayed for a week . I did venture out and see lots of gorgeous highways but coming back to this tiny home just felt like coming back home. The history of the farm is so incredible and the place is just exquisitely done.

carmo welcomed us at the house and after learning, that we‘d like to see dolmen (burial sites with big stones), she offered to drive us to another property. there she and her husband gave us a tour of the land and showed us several different stones and explained what they were supposedly used for (wine making, wheat grinding etc). we had a great stay at the house and would like to thank carmo and her husband again for their hospitality!

The location was equally impressive, nestled in a vibrant neighborhood filled with charming cafes, shops, and easy access to local attractions. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable stay in a fantastic setting.

We loved the stay, the house was beautiful and cozy. There was plenty of firewood to keep us warm in the living room. The kitchen was modern. I only have 2 things to point out: - It had all the necessary amenities except a mop to wash the dishes. - the oven top was not well washed (we left it cleaner than we found it) Finally, I leave the suggestion to the host that the outdoor space has immense potential and could be better used, for example with a swimming pool, especially in the warmer months.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a hidden paradise. The place is absolutely stunning: remote, peaceful, and breathtakingly beautiful. The house itself is very cosy and comfortable, with a spacious bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a great outdoor barbecue that worked perfectly for us. However, the real charm is in the outdoor areas. Not only did we have a waterfall right at the doorstep, we were also able to enjoy a natural pool just for ourselves. The sound of the water, the refreshing swims in the river, the clean air... it all created a sense of peace that’s hard to put into words. Truly revitalizing. Alex was the perfect host: kind, helpful, and communicative, while also giving us complete privacy and space to enjoy. Super easy to talk to and made everything smooth from start to finish. Trust me, this one is a real gem. We already can't wait to come back!

Beautiful Mongolian yurt in a serene setting immersed in nature. The space is well equipped for a comfortable stay. We really enjoyed the nearby river and the hike leading to it. John and his wife are friendly and gave us tips about the area as well as some knowledge to start off grid living.

Such a beautiful little house. The setting is paradise. View out the front window is spectacular. The town is peaceful and the neighbours are very friendly. The house had everything we needed for a couple with a small dog. The owner left milk, delicious bread, butter and condiments as well as local jam and honey. The bed was large, lots of English TV stations if you like that, internet was fast. The highway to get there is a series of million dollar views. 3 minute drive from a small beach with a crystal clear stream to swim in that we had all to ourselves all week. Sitting out front drinking coffee is an orchestra of birds singing. Nights are silent, we slept like babies. The owner let us check in early and the manager was there to meet us and show us how everything worked. After that, total privacy. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was top quality and modern. We will definitely be back.

Bucolic and isolated site with its own access to the clean water stream. At the end of the day, two Serra da Estrela probably attracted by the smell of the barbecue 😆
