Family-friendly holiday rentals in Melle

While traveling for a conference in Niort, we stayed 5 days in Fabien's Airbnb. A small haven of peace where we were able to enjoy the pool and the terrace in the evening. The accommodation is spacious and pleasant, 20 minutes from Niort. Fabien is very welcoming and responsive to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I would highly recommend it

We had a great weekend with friends at Roz's. The house is very beautiful, clean, spacious. Everything is provided (bed linen, towels, etc.). Small touches were waiting for us, it's a plus that we really appreciated. The many activities available on site occupied us well, we did not leave the weekend house: pool, jacuzzi, billiards, ping pong, darts, etc. Small dedication to Bob who welcomed us very warmly!

Everything went well during this stay, from check-in to checkout. Leila was very available and her home is of quality. Even though we didn't meet, we thank her for hosting and recommend her place for other guests.

Claire and François are very friendly hosts. Their house is very nice and ideal for a family stay. The park around the house will delight the children!

Warm welcome, perfectly equipped cottage and the swimming area is not disappointing!!! I highly recommend Serge and Pat's cottage!! We had a great weekend!

Our stay at Bois Mort was prefect and Richard was the perfect host. He had thought of everything to make a tranquil and beautiful space. The house is in a very quiet rural hamlet which has nice walks and countryside right on the door step. You are only a short drive from many interesting market towns too and Richard was more than happy to give local recommendations. The facilities at Bois Mort including the new pool and pool house, the log fired hot tub and the garden spaces are exceptional. Although some of these spaces are shared it still felt very private and there was plenty of space for all the guests. We would love to visit again in the future.

Very nice week with family at Manoir Souhait. The cottage is exactly as shown in the photos and described. Very nice pool and hot tub. Numerous deckchairs and impeccable. Everything is neat, you feel very comfortable. The kids enjoyed the foosball and ping pong. The village is very quiet and pretty. Shops are 10 minutes by car. The area is beautiful in the July sun. Geocaching trail (Terra Aventura) with family in Cognac, Aulnay, La Touche de Périgny, St Jean d'Angely - discovering old stones, beautiful Romanesque churches and rivers. Visit to wineries and vineyards (we particularly recommend the Dhiersat house in Rouillac). We recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation, family rest. Highly recommended!

A great little corner of paradise in the quiet countryside! We were able to rest and enjoy the Puy du Fou, which is beautiful and 30 minutes from the rental We'll be happy to go back!

The trailer is a very nice place to relax. The place is quiet, wooded, close to animals (horses), easy to access and very secure. Its location is ideal, not far from the host but keeping our respective privacy. Covering the gazebo would have been a plus (for shade and birds). Véronique is very welcoming, human and flexible, also being sensitive to animals, it's a point that we really appreciated. We had a very good stay, close to nature.

Simple accommodation in a nice peaceful setting in the countryside. Very welcoming host with nice touches (homemade jam, etc.).

Photos do not do it justice. Nicer than expected. Clean, well-equipped, lovely garden, off road parking, quiet location.

Amanda and Robin were great hosts and the gite was gorgeous. We loved the quiet surroundings and a quick drive to a couple of great restaurants. Our 2 little dogs were made very welcome and enjoyed the secure garden. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very inviting. Lovely stay, especially being invited to the tango evening. We had a great time at Catherine and Bernard's. A peaceful and immediately rejuvenating setting. Catherine and Bernard are lovely people, with whom we enjoyed talking. Swimming pool, badminton, petanque court, small piece of forest, nearby futuroscope added to a place where you feel very good: a perfect combo for a part of our vacation. We'll be back!! Well-maintained and comfortable gîte in a wonderfully quiet place. From the Airbnb we could walk nicely with the dog, there is a beautiful lake nearby where you can walk around. The house has a lot of privacy and you are wonderfully quiet. Nice terrace where we could drink coffee and have breakfast. Close to a supermarket and the highway. Perfect stopover for our trip, but also a good place if you want to do things in the area. Friendly host who responds quickly. The house has everything you need, including nice beds and a good shower. Cozy and nicely decorated, and nice and cool inside.

ideal place of healing, fire pit available, gazebo with large table to read the comics, books or games available. only small bemol: having to enter the hosts' house for the bathroom. we would have appreciated a shower near the bar or the dishwashing place.

We had a fantastic stay with Marc Andre and Chantal! Wonderful accommodation on a spacious property with a private pool, tennis court, and table tennis table. We had great contact with Marc Andre and Chantal, both before and during our stay. They let us borrow their bikes and gave us various tips for sights and restaurants. Absolutely recommended, and if it's on our route again, we would love to return!

We absolutely loved our stay at Rose's place in Villefagnan, for many reasons. Yvette greeted us, showed us how to use everything, and answered all my questions and requests for help. Rose's home is very comfortable. Top quality beds, pillows and linens, empty dressers so we didn't have to live out of a suitcase, a fully equipped kitchen, the list goes on. The beautiful backyard, with grass, flowers and cherry trees was our favorite place to spend a sunny afternoon. And the village of Villefagnan is wonderful, too. The town square is 2 houses away, and the patisserie is just across the square, so we had fresh croissants every morning. Two restaurants, a bouchère, a corner market, Tobac, and a pharmacy make up the rest of the village, everything you need. There are bike roads in every direction, so our dogs enjoyed long walks every day. The locals are friendly and welcoming. We can't wait to go back.

We had a brilliant two weeks at Philippe’s gite. It is located in a charming village with good amenities- bakery/shop, restaurant/bar, public tennis courts and lovely cycle rides and walks right on the doorstep. The weather was hot and sunny and we enjoyed the refreshing pool and outdoor dining areas. Everything has been carefully arranged for the comfort of guests and philippe was welcoming and discreet. Would highly recommend this for a family or group of families to visit. A bit of a drive to sightseeing places but we found lots of nice parks and the little lake nearby was lovely!

We had a lovely stay. Super well appointed environment ( games for children outside and large indoor games room). We were able to enjoy a canoe ride made available by hosts. The accommodation is very well-equipped.

Absolutely loved our stay at the 'Farm house '..... beautiful surroundings, enveloped in a gorgeous sense of French countryside...loved hearing the rural sounds, brought a real sense of contentment. Claire was the perfect host, dealt with any issues immediately and when I needed to change my hire car booking, she was able to assist with the French speaking agent. Offered heaps of suggestions of places to see and specific restaurants to visit. We would go back again in a heartbeat. thanks Claire and team.

We had a lovely break, staying in a well equipped beautiful Gite in fantastic grounds. The heated pool,games room and garden kept our teenagers entertained. Recommended :)
