Come stay at this peaceful cabin on Fairy Lake by Sauk Centre, MN. Great outdoor space to enjoy swimming, fishing and boating. Bring your boat or kayak and enjoy the outdoors. Fairy Lake also has a large public beach across the lake. Sauk Centre has three golf courses & a 6-screen movie theatre downtown. Sauk Centre has great bar & grills, fun downtown shops and the 510 Art Lab. Great Parks & in July we celebrate Sinclair Lewis days. SC has murals painted all around town by local artist.

Get away with your family and enjoy the lake with all the luxurious amenities needed to work remotely including Gigabit high speed internet, dedicated workspace with a beautiful view of the lake. *Note - onsite hot tub is explicitly off limits per county ordinance.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

The cabin is within a 5-minute walk to Barsness Park, the public beach, and the Lake Minnewaska boat landing. Close to downtown Glenwood to explore local shops, restaurants, breweries, and more. Please note: Cabin is not handicap accessible.

Our sunsets are lovely, and nature surrounds you. We are located on Long Lake which has no public access so it’s very quiet. Bring your kayaks for some amazing bird and turtle watching. Feel like swimming? Fairly Lake beach is 4 minutes from the cabin! End your relaxing day around the firepit!

The perfect solution for cabin fever! This romantic & private log cabin overlooks beautiful Diamond lake. Two queen size beds, one is adjustable w/massage. Hand-hewn rock gas fireplace, massage chair, fully stocked modern kitchen, wifi, YouTube TV (local channels & espn) & streaming. Enjoy the gazebo & hot tub next to the cabin throughout the seasons. I live across the street & clean and sanitize, so I know it is done properly. Note: Optional (additional charge) game room available.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

The Lake Place is a brand new A-frame cabin built to share our favorite place with you! Make memories in the cozy living room with friends around the electric fireplace, climb the ladder to the 3rd story loft for the view or perfect kid’s hideout, or open the oversized patio doors to visit the lake, just steps from our back door! Come relax at this lovely retreat on Mound Lake! Easily spend all day in the outdoors on the lake, hiking, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding or lounging on one of the decks. Enjoy the outdoors well into the evening using the outdoor fire pit, barrel sauna, or relaxing inside the large screened porch. Dock, kayaks & paddle board will be available from May through September.
