Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Mer

We had a very good stay with friends and our children. Christophe welcomed us and we toured the property together. Listing exactly matches the photos and description. 30 minutes from the zoo, we were able to enjoy the pool and the children were delighted! The house is in a peaceful and very well maintained place. Christophe was available if needed but everything necessary was already in place to have a good stay! I highly recommend it!

The stay in this airbnb is more than good. The cottage is beautifully located and very well maintained. The cottage is delivered very clean: both bathroom, kitchenette and the sleeping area are in excellent condition. Odile has an eye for detail, which is especially reflected in the garden where she has placed various nice ornaments. In addition, the cottage is located in the backyard of the beautiful castle of Chambord. If you are cycling, a beautiful bike path leads you through the forest to the entrance of the castle. We stayed here for 3 nights and had a great time. Compliments to Odille.

We had a very nice weekend at the Samsonnière. Good location close to Chambord and Blois.

It was wonderful to stay in a home connected to the history of the Loire area and its architecture. We loved the elegant, tall windows, the high ceilings, the wide hallways, the fire places, the lovely lounge and dining rooms, the views of the climbing roses from the bedrooms along the back side of the house, the spacious, main bedroom and the large garden with it comfortable furniture. We ate outside and enjoyed the garden. The kitchen is pretty but a little narrow for a couple of people to work in there at the same time. It is well equiped, with everything you need to prepare meals. The main bathroom is spacious. The second bathroom is bath only with shower attachment in the bath. It was fine for us. The house is decorated with soft, pastel wall paper and is quite sparse in its decoration which I loved because I could enjoy the structures of the home without them being hidden by too much decoration. We loved our stay and would stay again. Carol also kindly looked after us.

Quiet location with a very nice private courtyard to park the car in particular. The city center is close and within walking distance. The added bonus: baby amenities.

The host was super responsive and welcomed us at a very convenient time. The accommodation included a shaded sitting out area (sun optional) which was great in the 30C plus temperatures. A short and pleasant walk to the compact centre of Blois. We had everything we needed for our stay. Recommended!

Thank you to Julien for this quality and very well located accommodation: close to the city center of Blois (25 min walk) but quiet and very well located to visit the many castles of the Loire. It was cool, which was very appreciable in the evening after days of sightseeing in the heat! The hammock in the bedroom is a little extra to relax with a good book. Finally, Julien is very considerate and responsive so we highly recommend 👍

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

We had a very good stay to visit the castles of the Loire and the Beauval zoo. The studio was well located for our various visits and the neighborhood was very quiet. The studio was consistent with the photos and description and very clean. The air conditioning was very appreciable with the heat it was during our stay. Laurence was very kind and available to respond to messages.

Apartment has everything needed for a comfortable weeklong stay. Great spot just outside the old city. Easy to walk along the Loire. The wine and madeleines were a nice touch. Kitchen stocked with condiments. Definitely recommend - the hosts were responsive and gave great local suggestions.

Very pleasant setting! We enjoyed 5 days of castle visits. The mini castle park near Amboise enchanted us! The rental is close to many sites and the comfort is very pleasant.
