Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Metropolitan City of Genoa

Very nicely located accommodation on the hills on the outskirts of Genoa. The view down towards the sea is wonderful and the great garden with sea views invites you to linger. The property has everything you need for a stay, the kitchen is very well equipped and also a washing machine and dryer are provided. The property is easily accessible by public transport, but you always have to take at least 30-45 minutes by bus to reach Genoa. Shops are also a bit away. All in all, we recommend the place for sure.

Alessandro's place is a real gem. A neat, quiet and very private apartment. The terrace is great. Please note that there are no shops in the village, so bring food with you. The car is left in the village's common parking area, from which you can not drive to the village but walk uphill. This is the second time we've stayed here. Alessandro is a great host who responds to messages at lightning speed. Thank you!

Lovely cottage with private outdoor space. Host had provided us with many tips about the public transportation and the amenities in the area. Bus stops practically at the door. In short, an ideal stay where we have enjoyed ourselves.

The stars speak: Rocco's accommodation has a wonderful view, is 15 minutes from Recco and about twenty from Camogli. The location is perfect. The interior is large, spacious and above all quiet. As for parking, if the one attached to the house is full, there is another one a short distance away. A minute's walk away there is a grocery store where you can buy local focaccia and pesto, so excellent. Finally, Rocco came to meet us for check-in and gave explanations to facilitate our movements. Highly recommended.

The roof terrace is absolutely great and the place is quiet and cozy. The appartment has "personality" - it is not a basic airbnb. Lot of stairs, but it is worth it!

The photos don’t do this property justice. Absolutely stunning!! Everything you need inside and the wood burning stove is effective and just adds to the ambiance. Hosts were great and full of local suggestions. Just don’t miss out on the local butcher, best quality steak I’ve bought for a long time. In my top 10 locations I have ever stayed!

A beautiful apartment with a very nice roof terrace. Everything was very cozy and decorated, it felt like a home. You could walk to the center and in the immediate vicinity there were supermarkets, bakeries and other shops. Nanni has an eye for detail and is very hospitable and service oriented. Highly recommended!

Very cosy, small flat. Equipped with everything you need, from towels to kitchen appliances and washing machine. For 3 people it is great, for 4 it could be a stretch. The hosting Team is marvelous. They were absolutely flexible with all our requests (we have arrived very late and left relatively late). However they have accommodated all our requests. It is quite an exercise to reach the flat, the steepest stairs i have seen. But the view and the very cosy and neat environment was worth that all. The beach is 1 minute walk. many restaurants with a lot of seafood varieties. It was a great long weekend we had spent there

An impeccable apartment, in a super central area, with parking a few blocks away that solved the problem of parking in Genoa. All the details you can imagine, it seems recently renovated, I felt at home. Very attentive to the host.

This AirBnB surpassed our expectations and the pictures definitely don’t do it justice. It’s huge, has everything you need, and the view is simply breathtaking…we never wanted to leave. Sarah, the Host, is extremely friendly and helpful. She definitely went the extra mile - picked us up from the station, took us grocery shopping, offered a late check out, and shared local recommendations. While it is well connected to nearby attractions by public transport, be warned that the walk up is brutal - hundreds of steps from the station - and definitely not suitable with luggage. However, there is a bus that comes every hour and the view was worth it. We would love to stay again and highly recommend the accommodations to others.

Maria & Markus's accommodation is in a super central location and very convenient for touring the historic center of Genoa and visiting the Aquarium (5 minutes' walk). The apartment was clean and complete with everything. Maekus was always available and kind to recommend places to eat and visit. I highly recommend this place!

Matteo met me in person and escorted me to the apartment. There were no difficulties with the check-in. Everything matches the description. To prevent the noise from the street from interfering, he suggested earplugs. For those sensitive to noise, this will be a serious disadvantage. We could sleep peacefully with earplugs. The climb to the apartment is about 50 steps and quite steep. This was not a problem for us. We are satisfied with our choice. We can recommend this accommodation for a trip to Genoa. P.S. I missed the knife sharpener.

Adelaide and her husband welcomed us and helped with our luggage. They explained the apartments and all the events that were happening in the city. The apartment itself is very well designed and nicely appointed. The location was perfect for us in the old town.

Adelmo and Clarissa were fantastic hosts! Before we had even arrived in Genoa, they were in contact making sure we knew exactly how to get to the apartment, and provided an extensive list of local recommendations for restaurants and sights to enjoy. Their place was easy to reach from the San Giorgio metro station, and we later found out just as easy from the Piazza de Ferrari station as well. Overall we loved the location, the apartment, and you would be hard pressed to find more responsive hosts! We definitely recommend!

The accommodation is excellently located – in a few minutes you are at the old port and in the middle of the city. Communication with Pino was consistently pleasant, fast and very friendly. His tips on excursion destinations and recommended restaurants were also particularly helpful. The apartment was absolutely clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!

Spent here only one night, but we're so glad we chose Dario's apartment. It is super central but quiet at the same time. We enjoyed the great view over the city by day and night :) Everything was clean and as on the pictures. 100% recommend this place and Dario as a host.

Giorgio’s apartment was fantastic—light-filled, beautifully set up, and with the most spectacular view. It felt more like a well-loved home than a typical Airbnb, with all the amenities you’d expect from a fully functioning house. Check-in was seamless thanks to Giorgio’s daughter, and we immediately felt at ease. The location is perfect for day trips to Portofino and Cinque Terre, and just a 10-minute drive away is the charming town of Camogli—all in all this home was one of our favourite stops during our three-week trip around Italy. We absolutely loved our stay and only wish we could’ve stayed longer. Hope to return again soon!
