Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mexilhoeira Grande

A really lovely villa, photos don’t really do it justice. It’s very spacious and there was plenty of room for our group, 6 adults and 3 young children. The pool and play area were very popular. Lisa and David were great hosts. They provided everything we needed and more and were very good with communication and info. Some lovely personal touches for our stay left in the villa too which were much appreciated. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this villa and hope to return again sometime.

The accommodation was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at, the views in the morning on the rooftop where unforgettable, the host was very helpful and approachable when needing some guidance, the only concern is that we didn’t stay for longer!! Would 100% recommend

We had a lovely 10 day stay in this apartment. The location is ideal for the Old Town and the Harbour area as well as the large supermarkets. The accomodation was lovely with everything we needed. The terrace was amazing and the hot tub was great. We had water, fruit and drinks waiting for us when we arrived which was a lovely touch. The apartment was serviced twice during our stay and the team were quick, thorough and discreet. Paulo was a wonderful host. He responded promptly to any queries and couldn't do enough for us. This is a great location and apartment for a holiday and would highly recommend it.

Es war eine bezaubernde Unterkunft. Sie war groß für zwei Personen und wir haben uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Really great ocean-side apartment! The views are lovely and felt like it was the perfect distance from the downtown area. everything we needed to make the most of the local surroundings! Would highly recommend and would look to rebook if we return to the region!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Lagos! We were a group of six and found the property to be incredibly spacious—there was more than enough room for everyone to relax comfortably. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and we especially loved the pool in the building—it was the perfect spot to unwind after a day out. The host Yordan was fantastic—very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We also really appreciated the welcome book filled with helpful recommendations for local restaurants, beaches, and activities. It made exploring Lagos so much easier and more enjoyable. Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we’d absolutely come back again. Highly recommend!

A group of us stayed at Mario's house while we were in Alvor for a wedding. We were all delighted by the house, it's beautiful, peaceful yet so close to restaurants etc. Mario is great to communicate with and gave great recommendations for the town . thank you so much Mario

7 friends had a great stay at this villa. It's so spacious, and great views with a great pool area. It's easy and cheap to get into town through Ubers (5 euro), and just a great place to relax. The rooms were all nice and big with en-suites, and showers were good. Kitchen was well stocked as well, and we had lots of BBQs - which being gas was quick and convenient. Highly recommend to friends and/or families that would want to say. You'd struggle to find any problems with this place.

Ma famille et moi avons adoré séjourner dans le logement de Vitor. Nous avons reçu un panier d’accueil avec une pensée pour nos enfants. Le logement correspond parfaitement aux photos et l’espace extérieur est tout simplement magique et très apprécié autant par les grands que les petits. Le village de Fuz se fait très rapidement en voiture. Endroit idéale pour se reposer et avoir une peu d’intimité en famille.

Rosa’s place was great and exactly as described. Very short distance to beach and town (~15 min). She had recommendations which we appreciated. Check-in was easy. The place was as described and Rosa was super communicative. We encountered some issues after checkin and Rosa handled them immediately, which was so appreciated!! The place was super clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing stay, Rosa!

Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht , hat hier den richtigen Ort gefunden. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wurde dieser Ort gestaltet . Die Terrasse ist wunderbar um die Aussicht auf die Pinienwälder und die Ruhe zu genießen. Es gibt keinen Fernseher , Abschalten ist garantiert . Wir hatten einen Hund mit dabei und da müsst ihr wissen , dass das Grundstück nicht vollständig eingezäunt ist , der vorhandene Zaun hat Löcher oder ist teilweise defekt ! Auch kommen vom Nachbarn zwei Herdenschutzhunde zu Besuch , diese sind riesig , aber super lieb ! Wer Angst vor Hunden hat , darf hier keinen Urlaub machen! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt …. Host was very responsive & met us to walk us into the place. The photo for check in needed updating, it’s now at KK’s Thai Massage for a more accurate entrance area, but we rented a car and had free parking right in front (limited but got lucky!) Place was very clean and the balcony was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and resting at night. We walked to all the shops, pleasantly surprised just how much there was to do around! We ate at Terrazo Italian, incredible food! Beach was beautiful, definitely don’t suggest having a large suitcase tho for parking or elevator access :) Otherwise host was super nice, place was super clean & definitely bang for the buck for an air bnb.

Silvia a toujours été très sympathique et réactive. Le logement est parfait et à 10mn à pied de la vieille ville de Lagos, à 20mn des plages. Tout est à disposition : serviettes de plages, parasol, jouets de plage.... Les cadeaux d'accueil sont fabuleux (petit déjeuner, frigo presque plein !!!...). Je recommande fortement !

Schöne und große Wohnung, die sehr gepflegt ist und alles bietet, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Kommunikation mit Diogo war sehr freundlich und immer prompt. Wir fanden es sehr gut und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

We had a fantastic stay at Susana’s place. The accommodation was beautiful and spotlessly clean (very happy to let my little one crawl around on the floors it was so clean!). Much bigger than the photos. Pool area was very peaceful. Lots of amenities without being cluttered. Well stocked kitchen and generous welcome pack. Restaurants and beautiful beaches within walking distance. Great communication and very helpful host. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lovely apartment with everything you might need to be self-catering. Outdoor eating facilities, with BBQ worked well for us and the swimming pool was gorgeous. All the amenities were close enough to walk to, including a lovely supermarket ‘Pingo Doce’. Little extras, such as a substantial beach umbrella, helped us to enjoy the beach because we had sun and wind protection. We would definitely recommend this apartment in Alvor .

Wir hatten einen traumhaften Aufenthalt in Alvor! Francisca ist eine großartige Gastgeberin – herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Sie hat dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns rundum wohlfühlen und mit allen nötigen Informationen versorgt sind. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders toll fanden wir die bereitgestellten Spielsachen, Strandutensilien wie Schirme, Stühle und Buddelsachen – perfekt für unseren Urlaub mit Kind. Die Strände in Alvor sind wunderschön, ideal zum Baden, Spielen und Entspannen. In der Umgebung gibt es tolle Ausflugsmöglichkeiten – unsere Tochter war begeistert vom Dino Minigolf! Die Ferienanlage selbst bietet alles, was man braucht: Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und eine angenehme, familiäre Atmosphäre. Wir haben die Zeit hier sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren komplett zufrieden mit der Unterkunft. Die Wohnung war noch geräumiger als auf den Bildern zu erkennen und das Bett war überragend. Toll war auch, dass wir kostenlos Fahrräder nutzen konnten. Luis war ein super Gastgeber, immer erreichbar und hat sich um alles gekümmert.

Stayed here for a week. Loved the natural pool, the butterflies, the froglets and bull frogs, the bird song, the smell of lemons and herbs and the faint chance that we might spot an Iberian lynx all added to the romance of the place.

we hebben een fijne tijd gehad in het appartement .zeer rustig omgeving en mooi zwembad .parkeerruimte onder appartement is een mooie aanvulling op deze locatie .kan dit appartement alleen maar aan bevelen .zou zeker terugkomen .

A charming and eclectic place with a magical vibe. We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage, which has the kitchen/living in a separate entrance but this actually made us spend more time in this room which became our favourite. Beautiful antique furniture! The garden is absolutely stunning and you’ll have a beautiful time even if you don’t go anywhere else. The owners are lovely and kind people, always responsive and helpful with recommendations.

Patrick and Hetty run a little oasis in the nature – we made a super spontaneous booking on the same day and Partrick cut his beach-day short for us. He showed us arround on their property wich has all you need! The cabin was very cosy and we felt home. Had all you need to cook yourself. We liked the cosy getaway!
