Welcome to Greenbank! Our special slice of paradise only 20 minutes from Dunedin and 10 minutes from the airport - this is country living at its finest! Our place is nestled in the heart of the Taieri Plains on a 25ha working farm. The original half of the homestead was built in 1868, and while the guest accomodation was developed about a century later, it has been tastefully designed to replicate the character of the main home. We are a small self sufficient farm with friendly goats, donkeys, alpacas and cattle. We have free range chickens in the orchard and ducks on the pond. We grow much of our own fruit and vegetables. We have 87 acres of hillside you are welcome to explore. Right on the main road, but peaceful and private, we are only 30 minutes' drive from Dunedin city centre, and 10 minutes from delightful beaches, friendly villages, and a bird sanctuary.
