The building is made of total cypress, with high ceilings and open living and dining rooms, and a tea room that feels Japanese. In spring and autumn, you can hike, taste hunt, and outdoor barbecue on the terrace! In the winter, please use it as a base for skiing and snowboarding, including Naeba. I recommend it as a base for hot springs.(It is a good location, about a 5-minute drive to Yujuku Onsen, about 10 minutes to Sarugakyo Onsen, about 23 minutes to Hoshi Onsen, which is famous for its secret hot springs, and about 40 minutes to Shimanizen-kan, which is said to have become the model of "Chihiro no Kami".) There is also a study with a large desk and bookshelf, which can also be used as a workcation place. About 2 hours and 30 minutes drive from Tokyo. There is a smoking table in the garden. There are no restaurants nearby because it is far from the city. Please have dinner before you arrive or bring your food. The kitchen includes water, a gas stove, dishes, pots, and frying pans. There is also a fire pit for barbecuing in the garden. You rent the entire building, so you don't have to worry about sharing it with others. The house only has a shower, but there is a hot spring nearby. (7-minute walk) Ideal for the currently popular workcation. Combined with the adjacent Ume House, it can accommodate up to 8 guests.
