Welcome to the house of my childhood memories. It is located right below the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, surrounded by lakes and mountains. Inspired by the contrast between heritage and sharing economies, the designer Michl Sommer and his team of featuring-amsterdam have created this microcosm inside the traditional neighbourhood of Hohenschwangau. The 180 sqm living area provides generous space, and the 1'400 sqm garden is large enough for football games.

The small apartment is on the ground floor of my grandparents' craft house. It was the workshop of the leather trouser maker Melder in Füssen. It is something for lovers of ancient, rustic walls. The apartment is located at the gates of Füssen on a slope up to the city wall. Within walking distance you are in the middle of the old town with its bustling activities or in the picturesque mountain landscape of the Ostallgäus.

The large terrace and a private garden invite you to linger. In the village itself there are shops, restaurants and cafes. Innsbruck, Munich and Augsburg can be reached in about an hour. The rustic village forge (cottage atmosphere) is a cozy cottage in the middle of Neustift. In the house there are 5 bedrooms (note: 1 room is a transit room) for up to 10 people. The house is therefore perfect for groups and families. Due to the central location, all important tourist facilities (restaurants, grocery store, swimming pool and sauna, bus stop, ski rental, etc.) are within a few minutes' walk.
