Beachfront holiday rentals in Milford

My husband and I stayed here with my mom, 3 yr old, and infant and had a lovely time. The house had everything we needed and nothing we didn’t need. This place was no frills but right on the water, and the price reflects that. Stairs are a bit on the steeper side so just be aware of that if you have anyone with bad knees or children learning to use stairs still. Our host was wonderful and very responsive, we liked him a lot! The beach out front is a bit rocky, so water shoes are a must. But it is so beautiful and peaceful! Our favorite thing was going out during low tide with the kids, you can walk really far out and we saw lots of horseshoe crabs and it was so much fun.

Look no further! The Beach Cottage is beautiful, immaculate, private, and all things one would hope a vacation getaway would entail. This location feels “off the grid” albeit close to modern amenities/stores. Hope to be back soon!

It’s a great place to stay with your family. The host is super friendly and responsive. I absolutely love the amenities and the attention given to. Only thing I wish the inside voice levels were reduce; every time we spoke, we were able to hear one another even though we were in different parts of the home. But, it’s a very good and safe neighborhood.

House was clean great yard. Short walk to beach. Parking was good.

Barbara’s place reminded me of the way airbnbs used to be. It felt like home-away-from-home. The accommodations were high quality and clean, and there were even some tasty snacks! We loved our stay. Everything was as pictured. Stony Creek was wonderful, and we look forward to visiting again next year!

This was my first experience with an Airbnb and it was absolutely FANTASTIC! Benjamin and Celso were so helpful, kind, (and patient with my silly questions!) This was a surprise trip fory mother with family joining us on our trip for the surprise! The house is beautifully decorated and super clean! Our only issue was the throw rugs were a bit of a trip hazard as they slid on the shiny floors. We just picked them up until we left the residence, (no big deal!) Absolutely loved this house and our hosts! Thank you!!!

We enjoyed our stay! Such easy access to the beach was so convenient. You’re definitely better off venturing out after high tide to enjoy the most amount of beach and there are a lot of shells that make being barefoot challenging. We did arrive after major storms which could have contributed to that. The house was spotless with everything you need to be comfortable! We did not utilize the outdoor space but definitely would have if the weather was drier! Definitely would stay here again.

Robert was an absolute great host. The special touches for my son's 30th birthday was very meaningful. I would highly recommend anytime.

An amazing stay overall. It was comfortable for 6 adults. Spencer was extremely helpful throughout our stay — I had lots of questions and Spencer was quickly responsive. The house itself is beautiful and has that eastern Long Island charm. The backyard had lots of space and is well maintained alongside the pool. We also enjoyed a sunset evening at the beach which is just a few steps away. It was a wonderful weekend and I am certainly looking forward to staying here in the future!

Gorgeous house and property that is even better than the photos. Like other reviews have mentioned, the highway noise in the backyard is definitely present, but easy enough to ignore. Really enjoyed our stay and communication was great!

I got married this past Sunday at Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht club this past Sunday and we booked both of his units. I have a big family and we also booked another place 6 minutes away to accommodate everyone. He was so helpful and worked with me on answering all my questions and making the bookings very easy. When I say we were so impressed with his space, that’s an understatement. They even had a basket of goodies with a card and wine. I got videos and was supposed to come back to take photos but was so busy with my wedding preparations that I didn’t get to return back to do it. It’s definitely home away from home for my family while they were there! You can tell they take pride in sharing their home and their spaces with their guests! Would definitely highly recommend his beautiful place! Thank again John!!! We appreciate you and your wife for sharing your space with us!!

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Allana’s house by the sea! When we had a small incident with the keypad, Allana was quick to answer my call and resolve the issue no problem. Everything was clean and beautiful! We especially enjoyed the screened in porch in the back to enjoy our meals. The view from the master bedroom and deck is incredible! We highly recommend and will be back!

Our group of 6 has a great time at the home! The backyard is beautiful and has plenty of seating. We didn’t get to enjoy the pool because it was a bit chilly for May, but would be GREAT in the summer! Would definitely return!

Jim’s place was an absolute gem for my inaugural trip to Black Rock! The Loft is incredibly spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the meticulous cleanliness, attention to detail, and beautiful furnishings. Jim's communication was top-notch, making the entire experience seamless. One of the highlights was the extensive music collection, perfect for setting the mood during my downtime. The bed and furniture provided a level of comfort that made it hard to leave. Nestled on a serene, tree-lined street, the location couldn’t be better; it’s just a leisurely stroll away from delightful restaurants, charming shops, food markets, and more. I can’t wait to return for another stay whenever I’m in the area!

We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect. The view of the water was everything and was accessible from nearly every room. The home was modern and easily accommodated our large group. Yet it was cozy and beautifully appointed with all the amenities you would ever want. It is ideal for children with every toy imaginable. There was a highchair and a pack and play for our toddler and child appropriate dishes. The kitchen was fully equipped and had 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers and 3 tables for dining. The beautiful pool and hot tub were in constant use. Mary is very thoughtful and assembled a ringed binder with important contacts and suggestions for dining, shopping and entertainment. Although there was no beach on the property there are nearby beaches. The towns of Guilford and (nearby) Madison are charming and well worth visiting. Mary was very accommodating and responded promptly to several inquiries.

We loved our stay! The private beach was perfect for our kiddos - far enough away from the water that they could play independently in the sand while we sat on the beautiful deck. The kitchen had all the items we needed (we even took a virtual cooking class while there). Dmitry was super responsive and helpful. The master bedroom was a beautiful place to watch the sunrise/sunset.

My husband and I had a family filled weekend for our wedding followed by a mini-moon. We enjoyed every minute of it and we will definitely be booking again!

We had a wonderful stay at Eileen’s place. Many great restaurants close by…Lenny’s, Dockside and Rosso Vino we enjoyed. Delicious ice cream spots..Bishop’s Orchard Creamery and Ashley’s.

We rented both apartments for a short weekend stay. We had plenty of space to hang out with 7 adults and 3 kids. The apartments were clean and well stocked. We were thankful for the beach chairs, umbrella, and beach towels. We loved the easy access to the beach. The shallow water and sand bar were great for the kids to run and play. Great area! Thanks for the great stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Salty Kisses. The home is very comfortable and extremely well appointed. We enjoyed the proximity to the ocean as well as the ability to relax in the yard on the hammock or by the fire pit. Denise was very responsive to all communications and gave us lots of information about the area. Thank you for being such a great hostess!

Jennifer’s place was in pristine condition. Everything was very well thought out. My adult children decided to spend quality time with our son for his 40th birthday. We had some great bonding time that we haven’t been able to do for quite some time! This is a very special place and we hope to return soon.
