We renovated a 100-year-old Kyomachi house to make it a little more modern. It is a house where you can feel the history of my house, which was a former clinic, with the vestiges of the Showa era. There is a small garden and an old piano. The house has two floors, but the first floor (about 66 square meters) is completely independent and can be rented.The entrance is independent, and part of the garden is also for guests only. It is a 3-minute walk from Toji Temple, a 5-minute taxi ride from Kyoto Station, and a 20-minute walk, and it is a convenient location for transportation to the center of the city and sightseeing spots. * The price displayed at the top of the page is for single use.(The price changes depending on the day) For 2 or more people, there is an additional charge of 3800 yen per person. In addition, the Kyoto City Accommodation Tax is collected, but the accommodation tax at this facility, 400 yen per guest per night, is included in the displayed accommodation fee. The private rental accommodation "Takasegawa Shichijo" is a fully renovated 115-year-old traditional Kyoto townhouse. The traditional Kyoto townhouse, which forms part of the beautiful scenery of Kyoto, has been redesigned as a building with high airtightness and thermal insulation, while retaining its original structure, so that you can enjoy a comfortable stay even in the humid and hot summers and harshly cold winters that are unique to Kyoto. From the Japanese-style room on the first floor, you can see the tsubo garden, which is designed to resemble a "roji" (*a garden leading to a tea room). There is also a sofa in the hallway where you can relax and enjoy the view of the tsubo garden. In the evening, you can spend a relaxing time watching the illuminated tsubo garden. There are two bedrooms on the second floor: a Japanese-style room with two single beds and a Western-style room with two single beds. If there are 5 or more guests, we ask that you use the Japanese-style room on the first floor as a bedroom by laying out futons, though this may be a bit inconvenient. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils and dishes for simple cooking.
