Cottage holiday rentals in Minden Hills

We found this place last minute and booked it and everything was fantastic. Great views of the lake, awesome hot tub, and easy access to Bancroft. Nick was very responsive and easy to work with.

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

Our overall experience with Srishti's listing was excellent. The host was very eaisly reachable, and extremely kind. The property was well maintained and met all our expectations. The hot tub was the best ! The property is situated right across the lake making the view so beautiful, enjoyed just being lazy on the balcony. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants to get a way for a few days where nature is at it's best.

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the woods! It was clean, spacious, and incredibly peaceful — the perfect nature escape. The hot tub was amazing, and the game room was such a fun bonus. We also loved how cozy and comfortable the beds were, and the living room and big kitchen made it easy to relax and enjoy meals together. Just a heads-up: there are quite a few mosquitos, so be sure to bring some bug spray. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!

Your cottage is so beautifully done. You have provided everything needed to make a stay comfortable & peaceful. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well & relaxed in the hottub. All the days we were there, a deer wandered through the property & on the last day she brought her baby with her! Everything was perfect. Thank you for the lovely experience!

This is a great Haliburton cottage! So many amenities and opportunities for fun. Well stocked with everything you could possibly need and a highly responsive host! Don’t hesitate to book for lots of family fun!

It is a beautiful, secluded area on Pine Lake with the back facing west (Make sure that you enjoy watching the sunsets from the living room area or the hot tub!). There was plenty of equipment by the dock for us to use and enjoy on the water. The kids enjoyed paddling and swimming in the lake. If you are looking to work remotely, the internet connection was solid as my friend decided to work. If you are looking to switch off and go analog - it rained heavily one day there, but everyone was entertained with the all of the games and puzzles that were supplied at the cottage. Our Great Pyrenees dogs enjoyed roaming the site. We had an issue with the BBQ, but with some quick messaging with Jesse, he was able to get someone out to the cottage to fix the issue. It is a bit of trek to get into the cottage by vehicle, so I recommend that you enjoy the seclusion of the site - it is worth it! However, it is easy to get into town if you need to go there. Our stay at Dmitry’s place was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect & the experience felt truly blissful. The property was exactly as described and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was the perfect escape, and we felt right at home. What really stood out was Dmitry’s exceptional hospitality. He was not only a fantastic host, but also incredibly thoughtful and attentive. He made himself available at all times, ensuring we had everything we needed. During our stay, we were hit by a snowstorm, and Dmitry truly went above and beyond. He took swift action to ensure our safety. He had the snow removal done efficiently and made sure we were able to get around without any issues. We had an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend staying at his place whether you’re looking for a peaceful retreat or need a host who’s truly there for you when things go awry. Amy & David's place is peaceful heaven, when you need quite break from your work and city. Its a good quiet neighbourhood with all necessary resources. Although everything nearby closes at 8pm can be challenging. So stock up your food in advance. Amy & David are friendly and responsive whenever needed. All the nearby attractions are just 15-20 mins away. The best part is star gazing at night. Pro tip: bring your tripod to get a breathtaking snap of sky full of stars. Thank you guys, it was a wonderful time.

A cozy, large cottage in an absolutely beautiful location! Christopher was very quick to respond and answer our questions. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Third time - still a charm! Our favourite airbnb - wonderful house with wonderful hosts. This time we visited in the autumn to enjoy the changing leaves and cooler temperatures. We loved our stay! As always, the house was super clean with all the comforts of home, great king bed in the main bedroom always made up beautifully when we arrive. We highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to relax in peace and quiet, but have the convenience of a town with all the amenities - restaurants, ice cream, LCBO, etc, just 10 minutes down the road. For those with pets - this is a very safe yard for dogs, well away from any main road and lots of room to run around on the grass and swim in the river in the summer. We are already looking forward to our next visit! Thank you!

This cottage was amazing. The place was entirely as described and the prior reviews were spot on. Roxana was very helpful, gave tons of recommendations and was very kind and responsive. Kitchen was well stocked, the beds were super comfortable, the AC was perfect and I literally can’t think of a single critique. A really nice touch with the s’mores station that my kid basically ate all of. We will definitely be back!!

This was a great cottage stay for 3 people. It’s smaller, but doesn’t feel cramped, and the open concept, as well as all of outdoor areas really make the space feel a lot larger. Almost everything is modern and fresh. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you’d need. The beds are also quite comfortable. The internet accessible tv was a bonus, as was the hot tub. The photos are highly accurate. The hosts also get back to you, within an hour. The neighborhood was very quiet, even on a June weekend. I’d very much recommend this place. For negatives, I’d really have to “nitpick”: the bbq and dock/steps to water could use a refresh, but that’s a minimal “complaint” - since everything worked and were easy to use.

We had a lovely stay at Navid’s place! The cottage was spotless and had all the amenities you could think to need. The property itself was beautiful, with a well maintained deck, and easy access to the water. Navid was a very responsive and kind host. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay again!

Great spot. We stayed in the middle of winter. The place was amazing, Rayna was very responsive and we had a great time. A great place to stay for sure!! Fire place was well stocked and the hottub heated up for us. The place had everything we needed for a long weekend.

Our stay at Darren's place was perfect. The sandy beach and plentiful ammenities for the kids was exactly what we needed. There were a few hiccups but the host is very responsive and helpful. I would recommend this spot for any family looking for a great getaway without having to bring too much with them. Thanks for everything Darren, we would love to come back again!

We happened to come during mayfly season, so there were tons of them outside and we couldn’t have a campfire at night, which was a bit disappointing. But the host was super kind and helpful, and the place had everything we needed. During the day, we still got to go boating and had a nice BBQ, and spent three amazing nights indoors. Thanks again for the lovely stay!

Our stay at the Eh Frame Haus was awesome. The cabin is beautiful and private and the property is spectacular. We loved the private dock, hot tub and big living room-was roomy for 4 of us, but definitely enough space for 6 or more. Janessa was a great host and check-in and everything was easy. Can’t recommend this place enough, we had a great time!

This is a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Cottage is well maintained and the lake view is just surreal. Will definitely come back.

Fantastic hosts and stay at Algonquin Delight! Well equipped with great cottage gear for a very comfortable stay! Power went out following a big storm and the hosts were very responsive! This was very much appreciated. Power came back shortly after. There were great options for board games and big windows for plenty of light to pass the time without power during the storm! Thanks for a great stay!

😍Wow! Beautiful location and cottage! We loved everything about this cottage. The side dining area gave a cozy/private spot to eat and play board games. Kitchen was absolutely perfect - on top of being clean and well stocked - it was a delight to cook in! Decor was well planned and designed, giving a peaceful, calming space. Very relaxing! So close to Sir Sam’s, it was a perfect spot for us this winter. Wish we booked for longer! The host was super helpful and very responsive.
