Staying at this incredible wooden cottage on Koggala Lake was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcome and at home — their warmth and hospitality truly set the tone for the entire stay. A special shoutout to Yohan, whose help and attentiveness were simply amazing and made everything even more seamless. The cottage itself is beautifully constructed, giving off a fantastic homely vibe with stunning views of the lake. The team even torched the gardens for us in the evening, creating a magical, serene atmosphere. The pool was always clean, inviting, and accessible — a perfect spot to unwind whenever we wanted. All our basic needs were thoughtfully and thoroughly taken care of, making the entire experience completely stress-free. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort, nature, and genuine hospitality, this place is an absolute gem. Can’t recommend it enough!

FireMoonGarden is not just a villa, but a whole experience. And I'm sure you won't find anything better around Mirissa. Staying here ended up being one of the highlights of our Sri Lanka trip. Absolutely flawless. I would highly recommend staying here if you're looking for something a little more special.

Everything was perfect!

A beautiful and tastefully decorated home, well maintained by a wonderful live in property manager named Jeem, who prepares the most amazing breakfast ! A perfectly restful vibe for the 6 of us to chill at the end of our vacation . . . And walking distance to all the fabulous restaurant recommendations and beach ! We just loved it !!!

Saman was a great host he helped alot and gave recommendations for good food spots. He was very friendly and the room was clean and up to the mark. bathroom was the best that we had in entire Sri lanka trip. its really eco lodge as we saw fireflies and peacock. Mirrisa beach, turtle beach , coconut tree hill and food joints all are under 750 mtrs All in all a great place to stay.

We (family of 5 with 3 young kids) loved our stay at Helios. Ashley has designed the place beautifully and the interior design is very cool. The garden and pool area was heavenly with so much wildlife (monkeys, lizards, birds and we even saw a mongoose in the garden!). It was easy to get lost in time watching the monkeys swinging around in the trees and jumping on the roof. We loved the outdoor bathrooms. The team were very helpful and responsive and Lalani made a great breakfast. The location is great, near to a superb coffee shop and cafe (The Kip) and back from the main road in Ahangama (which is extremely hectic especially with young children), so it was a bonus to be set back from there. We loved our stay and made lots of great family memories. Thanks Ashley and team, we’d definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the villa. Clemence was very responsive, and the two helpers were always available and cooked excellent meals for us. The house was a dream - beautifully designed with great attention to detail which sets it apart from other properties in the area. It’s spacious, well-equipped and everything was in great condition. The location is also great, a short walk from the sea. A very comfortable and well-run place - we’re already looking forward to returning to this or another property owned by Clemens

Priyankara is a wonderful and kind host, his property is even better than the pictures, he was around to walk us through the space and gave local recommendations., We only stayed for a couple of days, but felt right at home, It's very charmingly decorated as well. Stella Beach House was the perfect getaway for my family and me. The location is absolutely stunning, with an array of excellent restaurants nearby. The house itself was impeccably clean, and we thoroughly enjoyed the amazing pool. From the very beginning to the end of our stay, Amit, Chaminda, and their team were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. They prepared delicious meals for us almost every day, which truly enhanced our experience. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Stella Beach Villas to anyone planning a vacation in Sri Lanka. It's a wonderful destination for everyone looking to relax and enjoy a beautiful getaway.

Equally wonderful was the gracious hospitality of Ushan, who was always there with a warm smile, ready to assist with anything we needed - reservations, recommendations, or simply answering our many questions with patience and kindness. His presence made everything smooth and enjoyable. The Dragonfly Villa exceeded all expectations. Every person we encountered went out of their way to make our family trip very special. Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

Cecile has a dream place for any family to stay. From the location to the great staff, everything felt like home away from home. The great view, large pool, and staff who cooked tasty food contributed to this. If you love local Sri Lankan food, Manjula provides the best. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any family who wants a peaceful view of Sri Lanka with the best amenities and a great staff to take care of them.

Fantastic stay at Talaramba Reef! We had a large family gathering for 3 nights (9 adults and 5 children) and booked both villas. The villas were beautiful, thoughtfully decorated, very comfortable, with lovely and immaculately kept grounds. The place was very spacious and it felt very relaxing, and the pools were very pleasant. Ranjith and his team were incredible. They were kind, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a memorable stay, including helping to organize a party and putting up a lovely banner. The food was also exceptional and great value for money. We cannot recommend this place enough!

Such a beautiful place with peaceful waterfront location, we stayed with a big group of 29 adults and south point villa and south point ocean was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We had a great time swimming in the pools and the ocean, taking sunset walks on the beach. The staff are lovely and work tirelessly to meet our needs, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next year.

This is a fantastic house located inside the walls of the fort with a beatiful view of the waves and sunsets. The house is completely renovated to a very high standard and is kept spotlessly clean by Nissanka and Dammika. They were always at hand when we needed anything and also cooked up excellent western style or sri lankan style breakfast. There is even a pool in the livingroom. A serene place, and yet lots of restaurants and attractions just metres from the gated door. Very impressive place and also very easy to communicate with Colleen, the owner of the property.

Stunning property, great staff and fabulous food.. couldn’t ask for more.. located a 10 minute walk from ahangama secret beach, Tim’s place is a paradise.. lush green surroundings, peaceful, a massive pool and cheerful, friendly staff… we hope to visit Bayagima again in the near future.. thanks again for hosting us the last night Tim!!!

We spent four days at Villa Sõmar and are completely satisfied. The villa is spacious, very clean and exactly as in the description. In the morning there is a delicious breakfast served by two very dear employees. The Sri Lankan banana pancakes are highly recommended. Furthermore, before arrival, you will receive a very detailed message in which, among other things, there are many restaurant recommendations, beaches nearby and even numbers of two tuk tuk drivers. The location is fine and you can reach anything by tuk tuk or scooter. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back anytime.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Noumi, the staff were friendly, kind and responsive. We were welcomed with cold towels, juice and a fruit basket (5 star welcome). The villa itself was very clean, the photos are accurate! The breakfast and dinner we had in the villa were wonderful. The kids were well catered for with a massive box of lego and some toys/card games which were well used after beautiful morning swims at secret beach. Overall I would recommend this place to families or a few couples or even friends. Well located and a short tuk tuk ride or short walk into town and the beach. Thanks for having us!

Surrounded by beautiful trees, lush vegetation and fascinating widlife, this place is the ideal spot for a relaxed, tranquil getaway. We had very poor weather while we were here so didn't get to enjoy the outside space as much as we could have. The best part about this place is Manoj and his team that run the place, we had beautiful cooked breakfasts and seafood lunches while we were here, and Manoj helped us with shopping, transportation around the local area and our ongoing transfer to Colombo. The owner also deserves credit, for being so approachable, easy to contact and proactive in resolving issues.

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

Fantastic stay at Sylvies villa! Very quiet and peaceful. Amazing wildlife on your doorstep. The pool was fantastic.

Pasindu was incredibly welcoming and even waited to greet us despite our late check-in. He gave us a full tour of the property, which was impressively well maintained. From the essentials to the extras, everything was thoughtfully set up. The pool was clean and inviting, bathrooms spotless with amazing water pressure, and the internet was blazing fast—even by international standards. Daily cleaning was a huge plus, and the cleaning lady was super thorough. Uber Eats deliveries had no trouble finding the place thanks to clear markings. The only heads-up is the access road—it’s a bit rough, so low-clearance cars might struggle a bit. Overall, a fantastic stay. Would definitely visit again!

What can I say? The days at the accommodation were perfect. My wife and I have traveled through 74 countries and stayed in some top class Airbnbs, this was the best so far because the overall package was right. Quiet and private location, super well maintained, the pool was bigger than it looked in the photos, the location was perfect between Midigama and Ahangama, everything was within a few minutes reach. Our children more than enjoyed the large garden to play in. But now we come to the absolute highlight, which made us feel like home. Special thanks goes to the chef Prabod, who provided us with delicious food every day and read every wish from our lips. We would also like to thank Shantha and Nishante, who looked after our safety, the cleaning and the garden. All three of them took great care of our children and were always ready to have fun. Thanks to you three, we have taken Sri Lanka to our hearts and have made friends on the other side of the world. Thank you guys.
