Rockwood Motor Court, built in 1929, is located on historic Route 66. Each room is themed and furnished to the era of Route 66. “The Classic” showcases the automobiles on road in the 1940’s and 50’s. The Woodsman Suite

A third floor suite, facing the river with the train tracks only a couple blocks away. It took 2 months to do the ceiling. Carefully polished and placed the old lath in a specific design, the ceiling is a work of art. Eighty percent of the material used in this room is from re purposed lumber, either from this building or from a childhood barn built in the late 1800's. It will take you a while to notice every detail down to the toilet paper holder which is from an old barn post.
