Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mitaka

It was very clean and spacious, and it was a pleasant environment for multiple people to stay.The kitchen was also stocked with basic condiments and silverware, which was much appreciated. It was a little far from the station, but the road was easy to understand and I was able to get there without getting lost.Thank you very much.

We enjoyed our stay at Yoko's place. Close to both subway and train stations. Very safe neighborhood even as we walked home at 11pm thru the back alley. We had little issue with locating the address but it is due to us not being familiar with Japan. Yoko responded right away when I messaged her and it was a smooth sailing after that. We would definitely rent her place in the future.

My children (5, 4, and 0 years old) have been looking forward to it ever since they saw it on YouTube.It was like living in a theme park, with hidden sweets and secret passages. The bathroom and toilet were also free of mold, and each room was clean, and I was able to let my baby crawl around a lot.I was saved by the powdered milk. By the time we get back, the kids will be exhausted, so it's probably best not to pack too much into the afternoon schedule. I'd like to try staying at other series too!

Harvey and Lei are great! My family had a lovely stay and felt very comfortable. The house has everything you would need, and I like that the location is outside of the very busy parts of Tokyo but still close to the stations. My family walked to a bagel place called Kepo each morning for bagels and then spend the day in different parts of Tokyo. The house is a great place to come back to after a busy day in the city. I highly recommend staying here and hope to come again!

My family and I were very impressed with Masato’s place! It was huge, clean and very near to the train station! Bed and pillows were very comfortable which had alot of praises from my family as well! Train station was merely a 5 mins walk away with a local super-mart along the way. Masato-san had been very responsive when we have questions and always provide us with the best recommendations. Thank you for making us feel like home during the period!

Sawada's home was very lovely and located in a quite peaceful town, that is a bit far from tokyo city. He was very nice and welcomed us to the home and gave us a tour. The stay has all the essentials needed and its a great space.

Hanako’s place was perfect for our family stay! Very baby friendly with a high chair and room upstairs where you can play with toys she provided or sleep on futons together with baby. Super spacious for Tokyo, and the area itself was a lovely getaway from the business of Tokyo! Nearby there is an amazing dango and maki shop and so close by the station has shops and restaurants. The bath at home was such a bonus every night to relax in a one button bath fill and keep warm. Super easy to get to shimokitazawa for trendy shopping or to shibuya for city life. But for us it was so nice to be near local shopping malls and local attractions like the Japanese open air folk museum - highly recommend! Thank you again for a magical stay!

The unit was simple but clean and comfortable. Located in a quiet neighborhood, about 10 minutes walking distance from the station, and the unit was facing an empty land which is good as we did not feel cramped or too close to the neighbors plus it was airy. The beds were comfortable, we slept well throughout our stay. The host was always helpful and fast to respond to any of my inquiries

The location is great. It’s said closed to rather busy JR Kamata station, which is true though, also it’s on the edge of residential area, so quiet at night and peaceful. Check-in and Check-out was smooth as it can be managed through tablet. It has kitchen and all necessary utensils but I needed one more sponge to clean up the sink, to have separated dishwashing sponge. You can buy those in 100 yen shop, though. I throughly enjoy surrounding eating places. Kamata is famous for Gyoza and Tonkatsu, but also a lot of ethnic restaurants. And it’s really easy to go out into the central part of Tokyo, so you can enjoy the life in Tokyo.

Staying at this hidden gem was an absolute treat. Pati, our wonderful host, made our first trip to Japan unforgettable by offering amazing recommendations for food, shopping, and travel. After much research on where to stay, discovering Koenji and Pati's place felt like finding gold at the end of the rainbow. The location was perfect for us, as we love to walk—stations were easily accessible by foot, and the Koenji shops were just a short stroll away. The space itself was perfect—spacious, full of natural light, with a lovely little balcony. The large dining table and open layout made it feel like a true home away from home. We stayed for 8 nights and it was ideal for a longer stay. Despite the cold weather and snow on the first night, the heating kept us warm and cozy. Hot tip: definitely rent a bike to explore Koenji and Tokyo—it’s a fantastic way to get around. Thank you again, Pati, for your kindness and hospitality. We can’t wait to return to our new favorite place in Tokyo! :)

quiet spot not far from Kunitachi Station, aka "National Station." very small but also very clean, great for a short stay near the city. To find on the map search for テラスハウス国立。if you like your airbnb clean then this is the place for you! a bit of clutter from all the signs with instructions for being clean but they are moved out of the way easily. overall I would stay here again.

This apartment is well located and Ikebukuro is a great base. We enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is spacious by Japanese and the balcony and rooftop a special bonus. Note the two single beds as we would have preferred an option.

The house is very beautiful, clean and cozy!The mattress is very soft and comfortable to sleep on. It is very suitable for girls to live in🥺🫶 and is in a local residential area. You can actually experience and feel the atmosphere of Japanese life. It is safe, quiet and convenient. There are convenience stores, food stores, various cute bookstores, and second-hand stores. Every house around is very beautiful, with a lot of greenery and flowers.Food, a 5-minute walk to izakaya, pork chop rice, Chinese food, Osaka yakiniku, etc. The nearest subway station is very convenient to go to Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Shibuya, Kawagoe, etc. The hostess is🤩 very sincere and enthusiastic, communication is very timely, and she also sent us a small gift. Thank you very much. I will stay here again🥹 when I come to Tokyo.😝✌️

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

Family of 3 (with a 2 year old). Couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay. Two large supermarkets with fresh food literally across the road, lots of options for a quick local meal. Short journey (15-30min) by express railway with minimal transfers to shibuya, shinjuku, daikanyama, nakameguro, aoyama etc. (but conversely further to get to the other side of Tokyo). Railway station is 5 min walk away, easily accessible for strollers etc. The house is lovely. Spacious (more than photos show), with balcony and rooftop for private open areas. Full amenities provided. Kitchen, aircon/heating. As mentioned in other reviews, given its proximity to the station/shopping centre, there is street noise into the night/early morning - but earplugs are provided! Cot provided was great for our toddler, and bathtub easy to run for washes. Small space at bottom of stairs to store your stroller overnight (behind private locked gate). recommend this place for the reasons above!

Lovely little appartment in a calm neighboorhood. Kami-kitazawa station is at 2 minutes walk from the airbnb and it’s pretty easy to travel to more central areas from there (shibuya and shinjuku for example). Lots of restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets which spared us a lot of time when trying to find something. Only detail is the train that passes by is kind of loud but we slept well nonetheless. Would come back to this place.

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️
