Torp with lovely garden in rural surroundings

This is a classic falur meat little cottage with lovely sparkling garden in the summer months. Inside there is a combined living room and double bedroom, a newly equipped bathroom with shower and a small country kitchen with fireplace. Next to the house are gardens, fields and an old farmhouse. At the knot, a popular bike trail passes by and there are many nice rural walking paths to choose from. Two km away is Sala Silvergruva and into the city center it is about five km. Bicycles are available to borrow.

Storstugan in the 1700s

Storstugan at FärjanGården. This is the main building of the farm dating back to the 18th century. Much of the property is preserved and restored. Renovated in old style with murals and charm. Swimming opportunity on the farm at the guest jetty, fishing from shore or from a rowing boat that can be borrowed. Access to two canoes (shared with one other cabin further away on the property). Cozy terrace with evening sun and views of the Dalälven river. Sauna is down by the water (shared but can be booked)

Large villa with spectacular lake view in popular Stjärnsund. Uniquely decorated house with that little extra. Two large verandas in both directions, where you can enjoy the morning sun as evening sun and an amazing sunset. It is less than 50 meters to the jetty with a wood-fired sauna and only 300 meters to the nearest beach. Boat with electric motor and canoes are available. An hour to both Romme Alpin and Kungsberget and if you like ice wax bathing as much as we do, are awake open all winter.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop 4 min walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Älv-Hyddan

Welcome to this cozy nest at the Dalälven edge, 5 km outside Hedemora. Grill on the patio, sauna and take a swim from your own jetty. Indoors there is a modern kitchen, toilet with shower, fireplace, TV and wifi. The sauna is wood-fired and the plot bathes in the sun in the mornings, sun all the way into the afternoon down on the jetty. Firewood and canoe are on site for a fee. One bedroom with double bed, and one 140cm sofa bed upstairs. Ps. Look at the water for the beaver at night

Stugan passar sig bäst för två personer men man kan bo 4 personer då de finns bäddsoffa. Man tar sig till Sala,Uppsala, Enköping,Västerås på mindre än 1 timme.

The Yellow House; homegrown veg & woodfired sauna

Come and relax at The Yellow House, a peaceful, cosy cottage surrounded by forest and a stream running right past. A 15min walk (900m) will take you to a beautiful swimming lake with amazingly clear water. We are Malin and Woody and live next door on a little smallholding. We have two children, three cats, a dog and some ducks. Depending on the season, we sell organic duck eggs and vegetables straight from the garden! A woodfired sauna is available to use for 200kr/session.

Herbre in natural farm environment

The cottage (‘härbre’ in Swedish) is one of several small outbuildings in a picturesque setting. The building is from the 19th century. The lower floor has been carefully renovated using traditional building preservation methods. There is a kitchenette with cold water, a fridge and a hob. The outdoor toilet is just a few steps away. The shower is in the main building. The forest is just around the corner with good opportunities for shorter or longer walks. Free parking.

Leas basement - Cozy Cottage in the countryside with fireplace

In the small village of Delbo, 1 mil north of Sala in Västmanland, lies this little gem. Leas basement is a small house of about 25 m2 with all year around standard. Works as a self-catering unit for a long time but even if you just want to stay overnight. Leas basement is tastefully furnished with high ceilings, fireplace, kitchen area, WC and shower. There is a double bed and a daybed for two. There is also Wi-Fi and a monitor with Chromecast.
