Beautiful quiet place with splendid view on top of a hill surrounded by a few kind of people. The hostess was very responsive and kind.

A big thank you to Sylvette for hosting us and for her discretion. A peaceful place to gather in peace and quiet and enjoy the cottage and private pool! The location is perfect between Perigueux and Bergerac! Thanks again to Sylvette and I would fully recommend the cottage.

We had a great stay at the Maison des Tilleuls. Cécile is very welcoming and we immediately felt at home. The house is nice with a large living room, which is nice because we were 3 couples. The garden is huge and very pretty. It's a haven of peace. It is fenced, which is appreciable with dogs. Several places with tables and garden furniture. Gourmet basket on arrival. Thanks to Cécile for her kindness. We recommend this listing

Great house, great location absolutely loved it, will be returning again

I rented this home to enjoy some family and friend time away from otherwise hectic French travel. This was perfect! It felt like staying in the home of a dear friend or family member. And, the host recommended a private chef who provided cooking lessons and a birthday luncheon! Unforgettable!! Unlike any other Airbnb property for its charming hosts, the beautiful character of the property and the amenities we enjoyed. Lots of nearby wineries, Bergerac had great charm and food, boat ride on the Dordogne, and more. No one wanted to leave! We hope to return!! Merci beaucoup, Karen & Charlie!!

Accommodation as advertised, very responsive, flexible and accommodating hosts. Very well located for visiting Bergerac and the surroundings. Small friendly guide on arrival and by email, I really highly recommend this accommodation with my eyes closed. Thank you to our hosts for this stay, it was very nice! Friendly apartment with small garden located near a bakery and a mini-market.

We absolutely loved Pierre’s wonderful property, it was a perfect two night stopover for us. The property has so much rustic character and has been renovated very tastefully, has everything you need. It was also great not to have a television for two days for a change. We would highly recommend and will definitely stay again next time we are travelling to Spain.

Serge’s place is amazing. We spent a lovely 10 days there in May and it was exactly what we were looking for. It’s walking distance into the village which has everything you need, and the place itself is clean, well appointed and in a beautiful setting with its own lake. Serge was so responsive and kind to us during the stay too - he went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed ourselves!

House with a lot of character, very well equipped and very beautiful potential perfectly exploited. Laurence and Jean-Michel are very welcoming, considerate and available. Jean-Michel, a passionate bakery enthusiast, has concocted excellent pastries and bread for our breakfast. (Order on request). Ideal place to spend a very good time relaxing. Many picturesque villages to visit in the surrounding area. Thank you to them, and I look forward to returning.

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

A real little haven of peace! The stay was simply incredible: the place is charming, carefully furnished and impeccably clean. But what really marked our experience were the owners, who were of rare kindness, attentive without ever being intrusive. Their warm welcome and thoughtful attention made this stay even more special. A huge thank you for everything, we leave with a light heart, with memories in our heads. We will come back without hesitation!

Hi, The apartment is nice and the added bonus is that it is possible to reach BERGERAC on foot directly by the green corridor.

Marie Laure’s house is stunning. The photos don’t do it justice. We felt immediately at home. It has a very spacious living room and kitchen which are extremely well equipped. The bedrooms are all en-suite. The house is set among the vineyards and is very peaceful. We really enjoyed the salt water pool. Sadly we only spent 3 days there but we will definitely be back for longer next year.

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

We had a friendly welcome from Deborah, Simon, and their dog. The Coquet Cottage was beautifully decorated with lovely touches like linen bedding and a nice kitchen area. The grounds were beautiful, our dog loved spending time outside. The outdoor tub was very welcome on a hot day. The hosts recommended the local lake and some dog walking routes. A beautiful part of France, only wish we could have stayed longer!

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

Our stay was a lovely dream. The outdoor kitchen and pretty garden with bath was a place you might envisage in a fantasy. We were welcomed with a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates. Although the weather was unusually hot we were nice and cool within the traditional thick stone walls of the house. It was wonderful to sit in the garden and watch the canoes floating round the bend of the the winding Dordogne river. We are very grateful for the experience. Thank you Steve and Eve. No complaints. Nathalie is very kind and very responsive. The house is ideal for resting. Located in a quiet area and close to Périgueux and many tourist sites. The sheltered and heated pool on a large terrace is really the highlight of the house. I would highly recommend it.

Accommodation completely in line with the description and impeccably clean! Very pleasant exterior, all in a quiet neighborhood and with air conditioning, essential in hot weather. It was perfect and if I'm in Bergerac again, I won't hesitate!
