Villa holiday rentals in Mondim de Basto

We had a wonderful time at Casa do Rio. The house provides everything you need for a short or longer stay of 9 days as we did. You can cook or go out to one of the restaurants in the nearby villages. If you’re not familiar to the region Sofia and Álvaro will give you all the info you need. The pool, nearby seats and trees are just what you need on a hot day to relax. Besides all that Sofia&Álvaro and Sandra know a way to surprise you with a little extra, like a traditional Portuguese snack to make you feel more home.

Lavandar lodge is a very comfortable and immaculately clean house set in beautiful gardens. Each morning we walked to the nearby river and enjoyed wild swimming and playing on the sandy beach and in the hot afternoons the pool was the perfect place to relax. We stayed with our 7yr old daughter and she loved the place, exploring the woods and finding swings and hammocks to relax in and saying hello to the resident donkey every day!

La casa está muy amplia, cómoda y tiene todo necesario. Un lugar bonísimo, verde, relajante... Mondim de Basto un pueblo píqueño que tiene de todo!

Excellent Rapport Qualité/Prix ! Malgré le problème de la langue, la propriétaire est très sympathique et accueillante, la maison est très bien équipé avec un magnifique coin barbecue, le grand terrain privé fermé offre une sécurité pour les enfants en bas âge et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes, le cadre est vraiment reposant et idéal pour des vacances loin de la ville, Venant du sud de la France avec 12h de route je ne regrette vraiment pas la route, je remercie encore les propriétaires pour ce magnifique logement et je compte bien y retourné l’année prochaine. Obrigado 😄

Enjoyed our stay in Vila Real. We used it as a hub for day trips in the area. The house was beautiful and well cared for and met our expectations.

Espaço muito bonito e com comodidades excepcionais, tudo parecia como nas fotografias, tivemos uma surpresa agradável. Eu e a minha família e amigos , Usufruímos bastante do espaço , principalmente da parte exterior (piscina) e da sala de Estar , que tem uma zona de cozinha e estar bastante grande . Só podemos recomendar e aconselhar. Estava tudo 5⭐️.

Foi uma ótima experiência e já queremos voltar no verão! Um palavra de carinho ao nosso anfitrião José, super atencioso e muito disponível em ajudar-nos, sempre acessível e com muitas dicas. Foram 3 dias extraordinários que queremos repetir sem dúvida. Aconselhamos imenso este alojamento.

Espaço perfeito. Realmente uma casa de férias super completa. Nossos parabéns pelo espaço. Único "problema" que tivemos foi a locomoção fora da casa. Temos uma familiar com mobilidade reduzida e a quantidade de escadas e própria casa se situar em uma inclinação não ajudou muito. Mas obviamente que isso não é um defeito. Só queríamos realçar essa parte porque como nós há muita gente nessa situação e dificulta um bocadinho. No exterior se as escadas tivessem corrimão seria o ideal . Mas estava tudo perfeito. obrigado

We came to Church house in Moreira do Castelo, August 2024 with my wife & three teenage children. It is situated opposite a newish village square, carpark and 1960's Church, with spectacular views across the mountainous countryside looking towards Amarante, (a beautiful town), only 15mins away by car. In the village itself, there is Cinza's bar, a couple of small independently owned bars/shops nearby, but we found it easier to stock up on groceries at Pingo Doce in Amarante itself, (only 12 mins away). Great amenities at the house, swimming pool, bbq, pool room, tennis court etc., with a great deal of local charm the way the circa 1883 house has been rebuilt. It was v. hot whilst we were there (upper 30's), but with the shutters and mountain breezes we still found it very enjoyable. Within the village square, there is a football pitch, a kiosk which sells beers most evenings, where the locals gather. Conversations can be heard until gone midnight. Church bell strikes at 7am.

The place was beautiful. The pool was refreshing. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed. We had the private chef dinner which was outstanding. The food was amazing and the chefs were very friendly. I highly recommend this experience. We would come back again.

Un séjour merveilleux, une villa magnifique et très reposante . Nous sommes arrivés en avance et nous avons pu avancer l’horaire pour récupérer les clés . Ce sont des hôtes vraiment très à l’écoute de nos besoins et arrangeants . Nous avons passé un super séjour et rencontré des hôtes comme ils se font rare . Encore merci à eux pour ce séjour

Our stay at New Honey House was wonderful. Eduarda was a fantastic host making us feel very much at home and coming with loads of suggestions of things to do. The house is very nice and very well equipped so has everything you need. This mountain area is spectacular and the nature stunning with lots of treks though the wooded hillsides to enjoy. with two swimming pool options, very friendly and welcoming locals and the lovely local town of Amarante it's a perfect place to spend a holiday.

Accommodatie voldeed aan de verwachtingen en de service was geweldig van Miguel. Directe reactie op verzoeken en zeer vriendelijke host. Een echte aanrader!

Tive o prazer de passar um fim de semana maravilhoso nesta casa e a experiência foi incrível. A casa é simplesmente linda, com uma decoração impecável e todas as comodidades que poderíamos desejar. O ambiente é espetacular, rodeado pela tranquilidade que procurávamos para relaxar e recarregar as energias. Cada detalhe foi pensado para garantir um fim de semana confortável e sem preocupações. Recomendo vivamente para quem procura um refúgio sossegado e de qualidade. Voltarei com certeza!😊

A hidden gem! It's even better than on photos. Lots of green, oaks, refreshing pool, cozy living room. Fully equipped kitchen, terraces.

Nous sommes vraiment hyper contents de nos vacances… le lieu est tout simplement un paradis ! Tellement mieux en vrai qu’en photo… la maison est très bien équipée, 3 sdb, 3 wc, vraiment tout ce qu’il faut (sauf de lave linge) le jardin paradisiaque, très vert, grand, des fruits partout, 2 balançoires, la piscine est immense 🤩 la vue est dingue, les propriétaires d’une gentillesse incroyable !! Les gérantes ont toujours de bonnes adresses… franchement incroyable !! Nous recommandons vivement cette région, cet emplacement et de rencontrer ces gens qui sont formidable ! Merci

Très bel environnement pour se prélasser en famille au calme, logement fonctionnel, une vue incroyable, petit village très agréable, paisible et charmant. Nous recommandons sans hésiter la Quinta do Tapadinho ! De très belles randonnées à faire autour, mais oubliez le vélo, c'est très escarpé ! Le boulanger passe même à domicile le matin ;) Perfecto 👍🏽

A estadia excedeu as expectativas! Tudo muito agradável e hosts sempre disponíveis. Ainda nos foi disponibilizado um excelente pequeno almoço, com grande variedade e produtos caseiros da quinta. Ficamos muito satisfeitos, com expectativa de regressar.
