Very good stay among the vines. Nice and clean place to stay. Comfortable bedding. Well-equipped. Friendly and available host.

Great modern house with all the comforts. It seemed difficult to find in advance, but was very easy to find afterwards. Pool not used (too cold). The host had prepared delicious breakfast and dinner (for a fee). The horses in the meadow around the house as well as the tranquility and the view the valley in amazing. Everything fenced for the dog. Sitting outside under the canopy with a blanket with welcome drink and snack :D We have plans to go in November instead of 2 nights, a week...

Had a fab family holiday, the house and pool were beautiful. The neighbourhood is lovely and quiet, but it's only a short walk into the town. A very hot week and a half, so the pool was well used every day! Someone came by every few days to put the pool cleaner machine in and to top up the water. Good size bedrooms and upstairs bathroom and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn't use the lounge area very much as we were outdoors most of the time, but it was also beautifully decorated. Pasties on arrival were a welcome treat! Wouldn't hesitate to return for another holiday. Thank you Mamesse!

What can I say other than SUPERBE !!!! Falker and Lazhar were the most wonderful hosts. We felt so welcome from the second we arrived and so did our little dog Rubie who quickly made friends with August and Luise. The surrounds were so tranquil and well kept and the pool was amazing during the warm afternoons. Amazing views of Villeneuve Sur Lot from the garden. We were sorry to leave as Falke waved us off and I’m sure we will return when we drive to the U.K. in the future. Thank you Falke and Lazhar with love from Marie and Ian - A bientot xxxx

We loved our week at Patricia's place. The house is just extraordinary, hard to be more quiet. It's even more spectacular than pictured, we don't realize the size and beauty of the space. Patricia and her husband were kind as rare to find today. I recommend it blindly and even hope to be able to return one day.

Fabulous gite in a gorgeous setting.

Very nice accommodation in a wonderful quiet large park. The roses are fragrant and the terrace offers plenty of space to relax. You can hear the birds in the evening as well as the frogs at the pond... it was a great three days, a perfect end to the city.

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

Charming little house very nicely decorated, quiet in the countryside on the edge of a greenway (many tourist sites accessible by bike via roads/paths with very little traffic). Diane is very concerned about your well-being. Very nice place to recharge and enjoy this corner of Périgord away from the noise and the crowd.

Very peaceful & relaxing stay, lovely walk into Monpazier with nice restaurants. Thank you to Gillian for inviting me to go horse riding with her, it was absolutely wonderful, we will definitely be returning.

Honestly one of the most spectacular places I have ever stayed at we didn’t want to leave! Absolutely gorgeous and serene. There is a calmness to the area and everything in the house made it so easy. Our family had a magical time here and Jil was incredible. So helpful and kind. It was like visiting and staying at an old friend’s. The town was beautiful with very friendly people. Jil and Thomas have thought of everything you might need to the stereo system outside to the bbq and electric shutters for a perfect night sleep. We can’t wait to come back again and make it a tradition to stay here! 😍

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Our stay was perfect from the moment we received such a warm welcome from Sophie and Daniel. The house is beautiful and very luxurious with everything you could think of needing and more all of the highest quality. We were travelling with our 6 month old granddaughter and everything she needed was there, even some toys placed in the cot - adorable and so kind! Daniel brought us a delicious breakfast of pastries and fruit juice on our first morning which was so thoughtful. The garden is stunning with the pool being an absolute highlight and very welcome in 38 degree heat. The location is peaceful yet close to amenities and the town of Montabaun is only a short drive away. We made use of the bikes to explore the roads around the house. Outdoor living was very easy with a variety of places to sit, cook, eat and relax. We really can’t fault our stay and only wished we had booked 2 weeks instead of 1! Lovely stay at Le Petit Grenier! A lovely little gite with everything you need and a super arrivals food pack to get you going! Great to be given pool towels too. The gite is in a wonderful location and the grounds are beautiful. The pool area is super and so nice to relax next too after a hot day out cycling /canoeing / exploring. Joanne and Martin are great hosts and invited us and other guests to a welcome evening with a charcuterie/cheese board, with many suggestions for places to visit and helpful advice. We very much enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again another year.

We absolutely loved staying at this cute, clean place. It was really nicely decorated, free of clutter, everything was new and comfy, but the best thing was the view, deck, and hot tub. Oh, and the frogs at night. Just the sweetest piece of country land to be found. The beds were amazing, linens were great. Honestly, nothing to say other than I will and would book this place again. If you're looking for a beautiful night sky, hot tub under the stars, and a great home to call home, this is it. Great host, too :)

This house is an absolute gem. Perfectly located for exploring Castelnaud Chateau and other local sights. The garden view is lovely and is great fun when the balloons float past! A beautiful, characterful cottage in the heart of this historic village.

Great place for exploring the Dordogne countryside and surrounding areas. The house with a nice outdoor terrace with dining table and seating allowing us to sit and enjoy the peace and quiet of the area and to listen to the birdsong. The house had everything we needed and the kitchen was well equipped and we lacked for nothing. We booked very late and Pauline was very helpful and accommodating of our requirements, and the communication was excellent with lots of suggestions of things to do and places to go.

A beautiful little house, tucked away but still so close to everything you need. The perfect base whether you are looking to explore or relax in the sun. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a lovely time at this positively lost stone lodge in the Quercy. quiet, large bed for rest, nice setting. and surely a good time in the pool in the summer. we'll be happy to come back
